Bowden, my new puppy!
My little Bowden is a part beagle part basset hound six-week pup. He loves to play with his toy goose (behind his head) and bone, but he often gets sleepy and sleeps for a long time if he feels like it.
We got Bowden today, and he's only had one accident, LOL! We're house training him currently, and he's done a good job so far.

Ya

He is just so cute! Are you sure you want to keep him or could I just come in and take Bowden?

LOL, we're definitely keeping him! There's no way we're giving up now. He's currently sleeping in his crate right now, we're also trying to get him crate trained. :3

Wait, your puppy is only six weeks old? Where did you get your puppy from? They should never be taken from their mothers before 8 weeks, even if they're weaned. Whoever you got them from did NOT have that poor pup's best interest in mind. Be really diligent socializing him, and make sure to do it from an early age, because without those two more weeks of interaction with his mother and siblings, he will be much more likely to have issues socializing as an older dog. >: I'm sorry you had to find out about this too late, but hopefully now that you have advance notice, you can work to make sure that as few problems happen as possible by emphasizing socializing him, and at least you know for any pups you get in the future that you absolutely NEVER want to take a puppy from its mother and siblings before 8 weeks (that's the minimum, lots of people prefer 10-12) and that anyone trying to give away/sell puppies younger than that is NOT someone to get a dog from.
She/her, irregular hours but I'll try to get back to you as fast as I can

He's absolutely adorable! :D I think hound puppies are probably the cutest puppies in existence; have to love all of that extra skin! :3

Not to start arguing, but I got Xena at 6 weeks. She loves playing with other dogs, especially big ones.
Awww! Bowden is sooo cute! My parents used to have a basset hound! Just Fred (My parent's basset) was not intelligent, and never learned sit. We think he's dead, as we moved away and had to sell him, and he would be very old if he'd be alive. But he used to participate in beauty shows, and he had a nice structure and colours, and he got lots of trophies we still have today. Some even gold.
