Charley is a peculiar boy, often to be thought of as bipolar or just plain insane. Although he seems cool and collected to an ordinary passerby, those who know him closely enough are aware of the act he bestows upon himself to protect others from the darker side within. His alter ego has hurt loved ones in the past, he wishes to never do it again, and tries to limit himself to as few companions as possible.
Although, on the bright side, he has a loose sense of humor, will accept any sort of joke, whether it be dirty or subtle, he has a rhythmic laugh, which is easily made. Charley is sharp-witted, and isn't afraid to speak his mind, this has caused him to break out in fights more then once, earning him some regrettable scars.
Romance has never been an attribute, or a goal, and sexual orientations have never been considered as an issue, he really doesn't know which gender he prefers, so don't ask him.
Charley is not a particularly skilled wizard, the best he can do is summon objects, he stays away from fortune telling and dabbles with the Dark Arts.
He is a superstitious boy, despite his dislike for cartomancy, he carries around rabbit feet and four leaf clovers wherever he goes. Do not meddle with his lucky charms.

Charles is the last person on earth you would think to be a wizard, in the beginning he was more muggle then any other human. He went to highschool, had regular friends, with a 'regular' family, then along came Anna, his supposedly crazy cousin, who introduced him to the world of magic. And at first, he had thought she really was insane, but then he found out that the skill of sorcery came easy to him, and realized it wasn't a dream, that his cousin was a sane being. The next year, he bid farewell to his adopted family, and then he came to Hogwarts.
During the war, he took refuge with the werecats, a mystical species who were thought to be extinct. He learned a great deal living with those creatures, whose knowledge was incalculable. They mentioned something about a prophesy that he can't seem to remember, like they placed a spell on his memories...
Charles stays out of contact with his parents, afraid of what they'd say, whether they'd be disappointed or horrified, or completely disgusted that their son is a wizard, he still does not know where they are to this day.
