"No, I don't know anyone, like I said I just got here. Why do you ask?" Alex looked around and noticed she was nervous. " Oh, that? Don't worry about all those people staring their just jealous of our amazingness." He said laughing trying to lighten her now nervous mood.

Brooke fumbled blindly around and tripped over someone, landing with a thud on her face. At that moment the lights turned back on, Derek saw her and burst out laughing. Brooke scampered to her feet, tripped and smacked into Phil. She flushed with humiliation and ran out of the hall, curling up on the floor outside. She could still hear Derek's laugh echoing through the hall.
