I cancel -- obviously D: -- and tried to be nice because I was thinking 'oh, here's this poor newbie who probably doesn't know their rarities yet, I don't want to go off on them', so I said, "Sorry... no... it's really unfair on my side." Then, just now, I thought to check when they had joined, thinking maybe I could send a pet or two and an offer to help them learn, only to find they joined in '09. D: Wow. So much for thinking positively. I can't tell if they REALLY didn't know after being on here for that long, or if they were just trying to scam me!

But I think more effort than that is required

Yah, you can't say that they were trying to scam you, I mean, some really old members disappear for years and just recently joined back, so I would be surprised if that was the case. Like Anna, I would probably be one of those old members that may have not known and made a simple mistake, though I agree that trade was really poor and they really should have put more thought into it...

Difference is I never really got into trading or even the forums until like... last year or maybe a wee bit earlier. I STILL know very little about something like the Rares list, which is why it frustrates me so much; according to the thread it factors rarity AND demand, but according to some it's wayyyyy different

Okay, first of all, I REALLY want one... NOT THAT BADLY THOUGH! Come on people, don't make me put Hollyleaf in a locked group. She's NFT. DON'T OFFER ON HER.
Second, is it just me, or is that trade COMPLETELY unfair? Aren't Malk dogs and Warrior cats in more demand than the zodiac dogs?

I had to send one, because I don't know the dog's name, and looking through the wl doesn't really help. e.e; I guess it's just because the other person has to take time to look for something they want, and if you have 1000+, it get tedious.
