I would like to join, but i have a very serious and urgant question about my fish. i really don't want my koi of six months to die. I think he has swim bladder disease. I was wondering if there was a cure (i have a seperate thread on this, but i need an answer ASAP. Or does it go away by itself. My shubunkin is picking on him right now. My dad wants to drown him in bleach which i greatly dissapprove of.

well, a 40- something gallon until he's big enough to move to my aunt's pond. i grow her koi for her pond, but i got attatched to this one. she needed a male so she could breed hiw with gracie, their all white one.

How do i take the skin off of peas and do i need to defrost them?

Yes, soak them in warm water for a while. Put them in a plastic bag though (a ziplock will do) and then let them sit in hot/warm water. To take the skins off, you just have to pinch them and the skin will stick up, and you just have to pull on it.

Canned peas won't work, they're in brine. Is he eating? They float naturally and normally if a fish is hungry they'll eat it.

Try the peas. If he doesn't eat them in ~10 minutes, take them out.

Just soak them in hot water if they're salted. If unsalted, you're set.
