[FamineMyth]

I gently pick Sammy up and carry her to the cover of the willow tree. I set her down on the dry ground carefully.

[Patch.]

Sammy was clearly unconscious, or nearly so, but her body shakes. "She's freezing," Mazzy murmurs as she starts pulling out her entire supply. "Put that blanket I gave you on her."

[FamineMyth]

I grab the blanket and gently lay it over her, as I look back an watch Mazzy.

[Patch.]

Mazzy sighs and shakes her head. "They didn't clean her spear wound, and by the looks of it, cut her and broke some bones. They wanted...something..." she mutters to herself as she tries to clean the young wolf's wounds and make sure she's breathing.

[FamineMyth]

I look confused, as I watch her.

[Patch.]

Before Mazzy can start bandaging her up, Sammy transforms into her human form with a weird popping noise. Mazzy goes pale. "Oh, goddess!" She puts her hand on Sammy's chest- over her lungs. "She's not breathing!"

[FamineMyth]

"What do we do?!" I panic, staring down at Sammy.

[Patch.]

"CPR!" Mazzy pushes the supplies aside and hesitates before ripping open the front of Sammy's shirt. She then puts her palms over her heart and starts pumping...One...two...three...four... she counts in her head. When she gets to fifteen, she leans down, pinches Sammy's nose, and blows air into her mouth. She leans back and repeats the process.

[FamineMyth]

I watch Mazzy. Slightly uncomfortable, I just hope with all my heart this would work..

[Patch.]

After the tenth try, Mazzy leans back, light headed and panting. "It's...it's not working. I'm so light-headed...you gotta take over." She tries to steady herself. "Ten pumps to her heart then three puffs of air."
