Border Lines - Not Accepting

Brechen winked back, but then appeared to be shocked. "Me? A rogue? What brought that idea on?" he asked incredulously. Then he sat back and grinned, obviously pleased with himself. "By the way, no more worries about the people. I sent 'em packin'."

((So sorry I poofed, guys! My mom works on the computer, and she had to quick cram in 30 minutes of work before supper. I didn't have any time to say good bye.))

Dusk rolled his eyes at Brechen before they went into sharp slits. "What did you do Brechen?" He asked, settling back on his haunches as he stared at his older brother.

Brechen stared back at Dusk, eyes matched his. In fact, they matched exactly. Color and all. Then he burst out laughing. "Nothing you need to worry about. I'll keep my rogue ways to myself." He glanced at Bronte as if noticing her for the first time. "So, how's your new pack coming along?"

Dusk chuckled, his head shaking slightly. "Of course you will." He murmured before continuing on, the light from his eyes vanishing. "We're getting through. We joined up with HailStorm's pack a while back."

All expression died on Brechen's face as a blank look took its place. "Uh huh. Yeah. I have no idea what you're talking about."

Bronte stiffened at HailStorms name. She had been sitting back, taking in the situation.

Mekah heard discussion, and slowly rose. She saw Sauver was still mourning, so she left him be. She padded out and bumped into Dusk, Bronte, and an unknown wolf. She nodded her greeting,"Hello Dusk, Bronte."

Bronte flattened her ears but then turned back to normal.

Brechen saw another female walk over to where they were chatting, and slightly turned away. He'd never been good at talking to females...at all.
