I think I have an Auction Rant worthy complaint. Well...actually, two of them now that I think of it.

There seems to be a flood of people who have no comprehension of basic CS Rarities and Values. Just about every auction currently running has ridiculously high expectations for the pets they're attempting to auction off. And nobody seems to want to offer what true valuable pets are worth. :? I set up an auction this afternoon for a few sets of '08 Dogs because I was bored and thought it would be something fun to do. I know it's only been a few hours and I'm probably just being my usual impulsive, impatient self but I've got a feeling I'm going to be just closing this out and ending with no winners. :|

I just saw this hilariously stupid player who said they had another account while they were bidding in an auction.

I've browsed through a few auctions recently and noticed that the 'autowins' are tending towards the ridiculous, while the actual bids are - well, also ridiculous, but from the opposite end of the scale.

And then there's the one I came across yesterday. It's for a Blue Nick Toxic. Very Rare, yeah, but not too many people are really tripping over themselves trying to grab one. Anyway, I found she had a few rare Bunnies and the GP from Easter on her wish list. So I thought I'd bid two Bunnies and the GP as a starting bid. She replies telling me she's not too fond of Guinea Pigs. Well, she's the one who's got it on her wish list. If she's not too fond of it, why the heck is it on her wish list then? lol And the auto win for the other Blue Nick Toxic being auctioned right now is a BE or CE Galaxy. I could just

Ha.. I saw that too. ;)

And I agree.. expectations for reasonable bids are just ridiculous right now. If you really want an autowin, make it feasible for the pet you are auctioning.

Auctions that are going to "Last till I get an offer I like" or are set for -maybe- ending like three months from now? ... no. *laughs*Maybe two weeks, I can see.. if you haven't gotten good bids by then, you're not going to.

I'm running an auction for my friend, and it's set to end tomorrow. But I've had the end date clearly listed, and the offers came in quickly.

I made sure to ask for a fair auto on my CE Galaxy, and I got it. ^_^ But there is this one annoying player who goes around bidding their VR Sleipnir on every single auction they can find. Are they serious?!

I don't even bother setting up auctions anymore. I find it a ton easier to just offer in them or offer in trades.

You hardly ever get a decent offer....

I get decent offers. I'm running an auction for a friend, and when the offers came in, me and someone else looked at them and decided what needed to be added to make the bid fair.

Nah I think I'm done with auctions. The only ones I've ever really gotten anything out of were the ones looking for the most pets to boost my hoards and trades groups. With those it's quantity over quality so it's simple, the person who bids the most stuff I want wins. Other than that I can never figure out which offer is worth what. Especially when I get someone offering like 100+ uncommon pets for my rares and very rares. Where I'm actually trying to figure out rarities and values it's overwhelming wading through hundreds of low value pets. :( :|
