five boys, best friends. they used to be shallow, popular, athletic... perfect. every single girl fell head over heels for them, but they don't give a damn, leaving a string of broken hearts behind them. until that one night. at a friend's party, they met a girl. she was gorgeous, with wide, violet eyes, long chocolate brown hair and every feature perfected. she was amazing. thinking it was funny, the boys played a prank on her. the girl left the party, slamming the door, embarrassed, humiliated, her life seemed ruined forever. in a fit of anger, she turned, muttering strange words in an unknown language.
she cursed them.
the girl hurried away, a twisted grin splattered across her face. she seemed to melt into the night.
the boys changed.
they were terrified to go near any other girl, in fear that they would... harm them. from that night, every single girl they kissed... died. suddenly, in their arms, no warning at all. they stayed against the walls, keeping their heads low. nothing they knew could help them, stop this, turn back the time and change what happened that night.
but, when five new girls moved to town, they immediately fell deeply in love. the boys were too scared to even go anywhere near them, so they showed no emotion whatsoever towards them. the girls kept their crush on them a secret for so long, unsure whether the boys even noticed them.
however, there was one thing. when the boys find their one true love, their soul mate, and when they do, when they finally kiss her, the curse is broken. they have to trust each other, love each other more than anything for this to work. will they risk it, or live with the curse forever?

∞ i. literacy ;
because this is a high semi-literate to literate roleplay, you must be able to write at least two or three paragraphs with at least six plus lines in each, even if you have a writer's block, you should still try to write up to a high standard. please make your posts easy to reply to, and if you can't, just go up and talk to someone. don't leave anyone out of ignore them, and please don't go more than one or two pages. also, do not go more than five pages without me.
i would prefer if you made your posts pretty, but without images. that includes fontmeme. use colour, lyrics, quotes, a nice layout, anything to make it stand out!
∞ ii. characters ;
please do not make your characters perfect! they should at least have a few flaws, an they should make mistakes. they must be between the ages of sixteen and nineteen. make them realistic, that means no stupid names, and please do not use extremely famous celebrities. i would prefer if your characters were straight, so i am sorry to all those who would of wanted to join with lesbian or gay characters. because i would reather this stayed a smaller roleplay with a maximum of seven members, some people can have two characters, yet they must be a boy and a girl.
as for forms, i want you to make your own. i will judge you on your form's literacy and creativity. you must pm me your form first, before you post otherwise i will not accept you and i will ask you to delete your form. along with your form, you must send me a writing example from a past roleplay. please include a lot of detail in your forms, the more the better, and i love pretty forms, too!
∞ iii. posting ;
as for posting, you must stay active. that means posting at least twice or more each week. do not constantly keep posting 'oh, i'll post later' or making excuses, because that is just spamming. i am very strict about spamming, so please just do not do it. you can post whatever you like in ooc, as long as it stays on topic and you have a character's post along with it. if you are going away or have some other reason why you will not be posting for a while or quitting, please just pm me instead of posting on the thread. it just keeps it clean. do not post one liners or random stuff on the thread, and if you have no-one to talk to, just walk up to someone instead of asking everyone if there are any free characters. i want to try and keep this thread as clean as possible, so you must follow this rule.
∞ iv. drama and romance ;
yes, this is a romance roleplay. please keep everything pg-13, so if your characters want to um... go into a room alone for a while, just timeskip or fade to black. cs is a family website, so we don't want anything innapropriate now, do we? romance should be kept to just kisses/hugs etc. nothing to bad. there should be secret romances, love triangles, dating, cheating and everything to make it more interesting, the guys do not know who their true love really is, so they may change their mind, suddenly like a different girl or anything else. drama is fun! make things interesting! make little sub-plots and such, but if you want to do something bigger or have a huge event, just let me know and i'll take a look to see if we can actually do it.
keep swearing and violence to a minimum, and if you do just star out swear words or take it to pm if you want.

---- ➢ her full name is taylor rose redpath. taylor's first name came from her mother. she had always loved that name, so when she found out she was having a girl, she had to name her taylor. rose was her grandmother's name. taylor's grandmother passed away exactly one month before she was born, so in memorial, rose became her second name. redpath is taylor's last name, and it has been in the family for generations. she is unsure from where her last name originated, but being the girl she is, taylor can't really be bothered to ask.
some nicknames include tay, rose, blondie or kitty. tay is her average nickname, and all of her friends call her that. rose is used by close family, and the other two are just random nicknames her best friends sometimes use to tease her. really, she is not that bothered about nicknames, so you can call her whatever you like, as long as you know her quite well.

---- ➢ taylor is described as slim, tall and quite pretty. she is very thin and not very muscular. tay has long legs and long arms, with perfectly manicured nails. she has size eight feet, and she is about five foot ten to five foot eleve in height, so she is relitively tall. she has an average sized chest which she does like to show off, and often wears tight and fashionable clothes. taylor always likes to look her very best and likes to make a good impression by taking a long time in making herself look nicer every morning. tay has very long, blonde hair which she likes to wear in different hair styles. the tips are much more blonde than the top of her head, and you can quite easily see brown streaks from where she dyed her hair a light brunette. she has quite large, almond shaped eyes that are a sky blue, and if you look closely they are both slightly different shades, the left is brighter than the right. her nose is quite long and slim, and she has full lips that are always coated in lipgloss of lipstick. taylor loves wearing make-up, but she doesn't like putting loads on, just some light eye liner and foundation etc. taylor is often described as pretty, or even beautiful or gorgeous, but she is constantly annoyed with her look and is always trying to make herself look better.

☞"Ah, the goods!" This is how mister Marks describes his own hair. It's brown, and a bit spiky, quiffed up over his head -and that's just how he loves it. Bradley adores his own hair, and can't refrain from running his fingers through it with every chance he gets. Sometimes, he will wear it underneath a beanie or boggin, or even underneath a snapback. But, however it's styled, or hidden, it will always have to meet his standards and expectations, which - when it comes to his hair - are extremely high. It's a dark shade of brown, and isn't very long, falling to the top of his ears when he lets it hang loose; which is almost never. Give him a compliment on his hair, he'll love you forever.

☞Not a body builder. Psh. I beg to differ. Bradley is extremely lean, so he doesn't look like the type to hav ean immense amount of muscle. Don't get me wrong, he has thin arms, and average-sized legs. But, his stomach? It's a different story. He has a six pack. No, I'm not kidding. He's quite strong, if he actually applies himself. He has the six pack, the v-line, the ribcage, everything. It contrasts his arms and legs by a longshot, but it doesn't bother him. Anyone ever insult him being weak, all he has to do is lift his top.

☞The inside. You mean his personality? Oh, psh, that's easy! Well, kinda. It's easy for him to understand, but I dunno about all of you guys. Oh well, I'll try. How about I split his personality up into three main parts. Okay, well, I have three stereotypes that kinda fit him perfectly. "The Lovable One", "The Jokester", and "The Cocky Guy". Let's start out with Bradley being "The Lovable One." This one isn't really one that he would consider to be true, but other people seem to think it to be, so he might as well share it. Most people think that Bradley's lovable. Someone they can easily get along with, and someone to listen to them. I guess another word for it would be that he's just an all-around people person. And, now that I think about it, it is true, I guess. He is a good listener - he doesn't care to hear what people have to say. And, he actually tries to cheer them up as best as he can. And he tries to get along with just about everybody, although, if they're douche-bags, he might have to make an exception. Ha, just kidding, that was a joke. Oh, great way to bring in the next part of his personality! The jokester. Okay, so he's not exactly side-achingly funny, but he can toss in a joke every now and then. He's not the kind of guy who uses sarcasm and dark humor for his jokes, he usually makes them genuinely good-humored, and funny. He likes to mess around, and just have a good time with whoever he's with, no matter what they're doing. Okay, yea, I know, you're ready to finally find a negative aspect about him, and you're about to get your wish. He's a little... cocky. There, I said it. He's cocky. Self-absorbed. All about himslef. Yah happy? Well, don't get me wrong, he loves other people. He loves to be around friends, and have a good time. But, when a problem strikes, he's the first one outta there. His life is the one that's most important to him, not anyone else's. Kinda harsh, yea, I know. But hey, he's being honest, he's gotta get a few extra points for that, right? Right?

☞Nope, he doesn't have a crush. Of course, Bradley's seen plenty of pretty girls in his lifetime, and might have crushed on a few from time to time, but he has never really saught after that opportunity. He's looking for someone perfect for himself, not just a pretty face, or friendly smile. He wants to know who they really are before he gives them his heart. He might be a jokester, and simple-minded boy, but he can think things through if he needs too. And his relationships have proven to be one of those things.

☞Bradley is pretty picky when it comes to his romantic choice - which is probably why he's never dated before. He wants someone who accepts him for who he is, not someone looking to date him, because of his popularity, or good looks. He won't ever date a girl before she gets to know him extremely well first.

☞Yeah, you heard right. Bradley Marks - this incredibly hunky, hilarious boy - has never dated anyone, girl or boy. Nope. Never. Bradley has always kept a keen focus on his friends and family, and keeping a good reputation with others, to actually focus on dating. Sure, he's kissed before, or went out to the movies or to dinner with someone, but it was never on an actual 'date'. It was just a friendly get together, with someone he was close to - not romantically. So, yeah. He's never dated. So, I'm sure that if he ever does get the chance, he won't be too good at it.

- • Name :: "My name's Shiloh." Shiloh's full name is Shiloh Katherine Grey. Some of her friends have attempted to give her nicknames like "Shi-Shi" or "Kat", but the only one that really stuck was "Shi". Her parents at firs wanted to name her something more feminine and sweet like Katie or Chloe - and she doesn't know what made them change their minds, but they did, and named her Shiloh instead. Eh, maybe they watched the movie?
• Gender :: "Feel like checking?" Shiloh is most definitely female; there is not a single masculine fiber in her body.
• Age :: "Some people tell me I'm younger than I look." Shiloh was born on January 29th, in Nottingham, England.
• Family :: "What family?" Shiloh has a mother named Rachel, a father named Nolan, and a younger brother named Lucas. Shiloh never really got along with her father much - way too overbearing - so she spent most of her time around her brother, only being two years younger. They're still pretty close, today, and the two of them tell each other pretty much anything. As for her mother, Rachel, Shiloh never really sees her much. She owns a corporal company, Grey Global, and so she's always off on some type of trip or another with her bosses and co-workers. All work and no play.
- • Personality :: "I do have a rep to maintain." At her school Shiloh is known as a 'tomboy', although she does have a girly side hidden way, way down. But you would have to be extremely close to her to pick up on that. This eighteen year old is the one that is always up for camping, or riding forewheelers through the mud. The one that is always seen riding her skateboard through the middle of downtown, or catching a wave down at the beach. Some may consider her popular, though there is a good amount of people who dislike her. Maybe because of her boyish tendencies. She could honestly care less. Throughout her little high school life she has dated a few guys, pulled a few nasty pranks and actually pulled a few boy's heart-strings. Truth is, Shiloh is sending a lot of mixed signals.
"Maybe I am not always some guyish gal-pal.." It maybe hard to spot, but this whole tomboy thing is only the majority of Shiloh's personality. She's actually terrified sick of bugs, and can't stand for her hair to get messed up. But her tomboyish side is the one that almost always shows. Shiloh actually longs to be seen as someone other than a guy's best friend, or advie-giver. She'd love to be seen as a possible love interest, or even as just an attractive individual. But no one knows that, not even her closest friends. She keeps it hidden under that cocky, and adventurous attitude.
• Likes :: "Meh, yea I guess some things are cool." Shiloh likes to pull pranks, she finds some of them just harmless fun. She can get a thrill from doing something stupid, but she always regrets it, though she acts as if she takes pride in it. Her secret love is her extensive make-up dresser at home, which she can sit in front of for hours trying to find the right style for herself. But she won't let anyone know about that. She also loves the movie "The Lion King" and has seen it more times than she can count. Oh and cats, she has a cat named Rayze. Also, Shiloh is actually a pretty competitive gal. The feeling of winning is one of her guilty pleasures. Which I guess can explain quite a lot.
• Dislikes :: "Do you really want to know?" Shiloh hates being judged, or put down. If she can't come back with a smart comeback in an argument she will go crazy, and probably change the disagreement into a physical fight. Also she truly can't stand silence. I guess it is just a weird pet peeve of hers. And she does what ever he can to make some type of noise.
• Hobbies :: "I'll tell you this much, I don't have a stamp collection." Shiloh is Miss Musicality. She is a bit of a tomboy, yes, but one of the things she prides herself on is her ultimately feminine, and sing-songy voice. She wouldn't consuder herself very talented with most things, but singing would, actually, be one of them. You can almost always find her humming a tune, or singing quietly to herself while she's alone. She's a bookworm, too. Reading. No, not a nerd, she just thinks books are.. interesting, is all.
- • Hair color :: "Oh, right, the hair!" Honestly, Shiloh believes her hair is her best feature other than her eyes. It isn't exactly curly, just wavy, and falls to about mid-back in gushing, mousy-brown locks.
• Eye color :: "Speaking of.." Her eyes are blue. Very, very blue. They're an oceanic turqoise with flecks of brown and gold near the pupil. If she didn't have her eyes, Shiloh wouldn't really consider herself very unique. Her eyes are what make her.. her.
• Blemishes/Freckles :: "Why are you asking me these questions, anyways?" Shiloh doesn't really have any blemishes or freckles on her face, although she has a couple of birthmarks here and there. Her skin is rather tan for someone with hair as light as her own, and it's all natural - no tanning beds. She doesn't want to look 60 on her 30th birthday.
• Height and Weight :: "Isn't that a little personal?" Shiloh is around 5'7, not too tall, but not anywhere near short, either. She weighs around 128 lbs, and has all the pudge of a twig. She has no muscle in her body whatsoever, but that doesn't bother her one bit.

- ๑ memoir :: Cady has lived a very diverse life. She was adopted as a baby, and grew up in a small town with her parents, and had a very happy childhood. The family of three was very close, and did almost everything together. There were never secrets or arguments between the three of them, and they all loved to spend time together. But, that ended when Cady was 16. Her parents died in a freak accident- they went bungee jumping off of a bridge, and their cables snapped, plunging them into the cold and rocky river below. Their death affected Cady deeply, but instead of collapsing in on herself and becoming merely a shell, the girl put all of grief into something more productive. Once Cady turned 17, her guardian granted her permission to travel the world. She has lived in several different countries, including Costa Rica, Brazil, Morocco, Germany, Egypt, India, Malaysia. She spent about 6 months in each country, with the exception of Morocco and Germany. She lived with a different family in each country, most of them people that worked for the same company as her guardian and that knew her guardian as well. She explored on her own most of the time in those different countries, coming back to the families' houses only to check in and sleep. She made many different friends and gained experience that you can gain only by immersing yourself in the culture. She flourished under the experience, but has now come back to the States to pursue a Communications degree.
๑ perѕoɴαlιтy :: Cady is a very sweet girl. Easy to get along with and always in a good mood, the pretty brunette is very easy to love. She gives the love back, and will always be loyal to those that have gained her affection. Sweetness exudes from her very pores, it seems, but she can turn that 'sweet' into flirty and coy in an instant. She is in love with the idea of being in love, and has no issue putting herself out there in hopes that true love will find her. There are a few quirks she has that will never go away, and she hopes that one day, someone can love her for those instead of hating her for those. She is a very well educated girl, though in a youthful and humble way, not in a dusty books and old people way. She also has a great deal of life experience, and can fit herself into an situation with ease.
