Icia: The walls of the long, narrow school hallway the lab mix treaded on seemed to be closing in closer to her with every pawstep she took. An eerie silence hung in the air, the once busy hallway filled with children milling about was now devoid of much life. Unguided she roamed, idly turning down different hallways. Each classroom she passed had it's door swung wide open, each room a tantilizing invitation for Icia to enter. As she shifted to shuffle into a fairly large classroom, an aroma disrupted her movement. pausing, she hoisted herself on her haunches, opening her maw wide to get a better scent of what was clearly some form of sustenance. Once she had figured out where the smell's origin was, Icia set off towards it's general direction, her stride now filled with intent. Reaching the entrance to what she knew as a cafeteria, her icy eyes dilated to the sudden luminescence of the fluorescent lights. Slinking in she saw cardboard boxes strewn over the tiled floor right at the entrance, and to Icia's delight the boxes were spilling over with meats of many kinds. Not thinking, she cantered forward and buried her snout into the boxes, clamping her jaws around a juicy steak and treading over to one of the wooden lunch tables to eat her meal.
Jeanette: Jeanette padded into the hotel lobby, the sound of her clicking claws on the tile resounding through the hotel's emptiness. She headed to the top floor, hopping from step to step on the red velvet laiden spiral staircase until she reached the level where the higher ranks slept. Sauntering across the floor's maroon velvet surface, she reached room 48, the room next to room 49, the beta's and finally room 50, the Alpha's room. Nosing the wood door open, she loped wearily in and to the bed closest to the balcony. Back pedaling a few inches, she shot forward and leaped onto the plush bed mattress, settling down in the covers. Jen had personalized her room with different objects she had found on her journey's through Arcadia, many chew toys occupying the other bed closest to the door and any leftover prey located in the bathroom. The set up was odd, yes, but the hotel room's were an ideal place to make your home. A small hedgehog toy was left on her mattress, and she picked it up gently in her jaws, placing it between her paws and gnawing on it in stress. She was worried about the strange tranquility between them and The Nobility, no fights had broke out and nothing was happening whatsoever. Maybe the fight between our gangs is finally subsiding, she knew it wasn't true, but she took false comfort in the thought. But in the back of her mind, she was sure it was all wishful thinking.
Flare: Flare ambled out of an alley that he had slept in the night before, and took up a brisk pace to the long abandoned mall. The sun just started to sink beneath the skyline and the sky was painted a dark purple when the male entered the mall. His claws clicked on the tile floor, the noise echoing throughout the mall. Flare was searching for somewhere to stay for the night, and he knew the perfect place. Fluorescent lights flickered above him, the artificial light bothering his eyes slightly. A no longer working escalator stretched upward and he picked his way gingerly up the steps. His nail got caught in one of the vertical slats and he let out a loud yelp of surprise. Escalators didn't sit well with Flare. Scrabbling up the length of the escalator he found what he was looking for- a pet store. Perfect. The male's graceful gait had diminished and he dragged his feet along the floor tiredly. He padded in and looked around, the pungent scent of kibble lingering in the air. Flare wouldn't settle for the bland kibble now that his owner's had passed away but the pet store had many chew toys and comfortable beds to rest in. He padded up to one such bed and picked it up between his jaws, dragging it to the front of the store so he could watch for any dog's that might want to enter the store. Flare quickly curled up in the dog bed, relishing it's luxurious fabric. With a contented sigh he buried his wet black nose into his tail fur and let sleep find him, whilst keeping his ears perked for any signs of dog's.
Haunt: The athletic male craned his neck upward to see the familiar broken windows of the warehouse, he had to squint his eyes from the bright sun as it casted a glare on the window panes. The structure had a sinister look to it, but the warehouse now felt like home to Haunt. But it isn't home, my owner's house is my real home he thought bitterly. He forced himself to push the thought aside and strode into the building, muscles rippling under his glossy cream pelt as he glanced around. The warehouse was divided up in a few sections. In the center was a courtyard of sorts, a spacious expanse of space where the gang came together to meet and hang out. In the center of the courtyard was their prey pile, where scavenged food and hunted quarry was placed. Tall stacks of crates were left in each corner of the warehouse, this being used as an almost playground for the dog's. Crates were pushed especially close together in one corner, with only one entrance to the small hay covered space which was used as a nursery. Stall like spaces rimmed the east and west side of the area where middle ranking dog's stayed. And finally was the lofty walkway high up in the warehouse, which dog's got to by climbing the forklift. This is where the high ranking dog's stayed.
