Oh, waiting for the TARDIS! That reminds me. This is a totally true story of me meeting (almost) The Doctor. THE Doctor. Not Matt Smith. If you don't believe it, you shall be shunned. Okay. Here goes.
First, a pretense. This is how the Doctor came to be at my school, not Matt Smith, but the The Doctor with two hearts and everything.
So, Doctor Who is a television show in THIS dimension. In this dimension, David Tennant and Matt Smith and Christopher Eccelston are all actors and what not. They partake in a brilliant science fiction television show called Doctor Who. They eventually leave the show and live out brilliant lives as merely actors. In ANOTHER dimension, it's all real. The Time Lords, the Vashta Nerada, Santarans--all of it. Earth is saved by a man with two hearts travelling through time and space with nothing but companions he's encountered on his adventures, a sonic screwdriver, and occasionally a timey wimey detector that goes ding when there's stuff. You've seen before, the Doctor has accidentally fallen into another dimension through The TARDIS. There was the one where Rose's dad wasn't dead. That was all completely an accident, wasn't his intention, but it happened. It can happen.
Okay. Back to the main story.
Hello. My name is Stormageddon, Dark Lord of All. And this is the story of how I died became a companion.
So, I'm just sitting there, in the car with me mum, driving to my highschool, like any other day. I'm listening to the radio station and chatting it up, being my usual brilliant self. There was probably some stupid song on the radio, like Call Me May be. I had probably just made some stupid joke because I was laughing. I turn around to face the front windshield, and BAM. The entire freaking sky. Turns green. Like, green. Like, this green. But bright. Like the color the eleventh's screwdriver when it lights up. The entire sky. And I look, and right smack dab a little to the right of my highschool is a trail of smoke that wasn't there before. Like, if you set a plane horizontally at the level of the top of the trail and the plane was parallel to the ground, the rest of the trail would be going at a forty-five degree angle to the left, toward my highschool. It looked like an arrow, pointing at the school. So, I'm just sitting there, flipping out shouting (I decided for your guys' sake not to abuse caps on this), "Oh my God, it's the Doctor! I hope he's wearing a fez! I bet he's come to save us from something! I hope Santarans invaded the school so I can hit one in the back of the head with a hammer!"
So, I get to school, and I'm running to my friend who is also a Whovian, and my backpack is bouncing behind me, all covered in TARDIS pins, and I'm doing that awkward lurching backpack-sprint. So, my friend. I can't say her name on here, so we're gonna call her Smitty Werben Yager Man Jensen. So, Smitty Werben Yager Man Jensen and I are both yelling at each other, "He's finally here! We get to be companions!" Because Smitty Werben Yager Man Jensen saw it too. The green flash, and the smoke trail. So The Doctor was at my school. Next, the angels invaded.
I think. It probably went like this. They were all over, sending everyone back in time. My English teacher, that one girl that's a cheerleader, the boy that laughed at me for knowing how to cast a levitation charm. They were all sent away. But, somehow, I created a paradox. I fixed it and impressed the Doctor with my knowledge, and he promised to bring me to see the stars. But then, in a twist turn of events, The TARDIS fell back into its proper dimension. And then everyone fell and hit their heads and forgot everything. Simultaneously. It can happen. It might not have been Angels. Might have been Vashta Nerada. Or something.
And I'm pretty sure I'm gonna pull a Donna and FIND HIM AGAIN. Because it is destiny. Also, I get to be a companion and not Smitty Werben Yager Man Jensen, because my British accent is better than Smitty Werben Yager Man Jensen's. And I'm gonna have some quirky fashion like the Doctors do. Like, Harry Potter glasses. Or like, a nautical captain's coat. Or unconventionally high heels. I hope you're all honored to have met the future companion of the actual Doctor.
And you're all like, 'Stormy, that was really dramatic and led to absolutely nothing', or, 'Stormy, I'm pretty sure you were just hopped up on all kinds of Cow Tales you've been eating', or something else irrational like that. Because this happened.

That's...that's just bizarre. That has to be some kind of paradox in itself.
He's a Timelord, no? So, my theory is that all Timelords, when they reach a certain regeneration, have a thing for bowties. Works?
"remember how we forgot?
remember how no one ever really died in the wars we fought?
because each gunshot came from our fingertips
and we never really kept them loaded, just in case
because each enemy was a friend and none of it was about oil, religion or land
it was all just pretend;
remember how we used to bend reality
like we were circus strong men
like our imaginations were in shape then
like we were all ninjas trained in the deadly art of "did not"
like "i totally got you!"
"...did not"
remember how we forgot?"

Charcoal TARDIS wrote:So, I just looked up "diagram of a sonic screwdriver". Guess what didn't come up. A diagram of a sonic screwdriver. But I did get a nice picture of LEGO 11:

Although I did not get my sonic screwdriver diagram.
Adorable. But I looked it up and got plenty of diagrams. o.O
There are Etsy earrings I'm buying online. They're lego. With clay hair. Really awesome. One's Tennant, one's Smithy. I have my two geeky subjects in one. ^-^
