Nightkit sighed, and she curled up beside her mother.

Moonstar went to the nursery, he needed to talk with Rubystorm.

Goldensong licked her son and mewed, "You too Lionkit, you are my kit now darling, so go to sleep next to your siblings."

Lionkit sighed and fell asleep next to Goldensong

Rubystorm sat in her nest with her kits, Mintkit was fiddling with the moss.

Moonstar poked his head into the nursery. "Rubystorm?" He meowed quietly.

Rubystorm looked up and mewed, "Yes Moonstar?"

"Can we talk?" Moonstar meowed.

Rubystorm mewed, "Hmm sure." and she got to her feet and padded into the afternoon sun and mewed, "Yes Moonstar?"

"Its about Lionkit." Moonstar meowed, looking at his mate. "I find it strange as he has the same pelt as you and Redpaw, then he has the same white paws and eyes as Splashpaw and I do..." Moonstar meowed. "I think they lied about Lionkit."

[walk.]

Rubystorm looked at her pelt, then at the kit in the nursery and mewed, "Hmm, I agree actually, you don't think they? Do you? Splashpaw wouldn't agree to it, star clan must have something to do with it."

"Theres only one way to find out. We have to talk to Redpaw and Splashpaw." Moonstar meowed.
