Favorite Tofu recipes?

I bought tofu for the 1st time today. Really weird since Ive been a lacto-vegetarian nearly 5yrs. A restaurant near me makes a great BBQ sandwich with it so I wanted to try it at home since they want 8.00 for theirs. I simply cut it into patties, fried it in olive oil and then smothered it in the BBQ sauce. It was REALLY great.
Anyway I bought a 2nd pack of tofu tonight so Id love to hear some of your fav recipes.If it matters any, I bought the firm tofu.Any suggestions to use it as a meat replacer also welcome.

I don't have any recipes, but I'd love to see other people's ideas. I fast from meat and dairy for a week before Easter every year, and since my family and I aren't normally vegan, we have a hard time putting meals together at that time. Also, what firmness of tofu does everyone recommend? Does it really matter except for preference?
