Rosie heard the yelps and smelled the blood. She didnt think, just ran to the scene. " What happened?!" She gasped as Hail lay dying on his side.

Cody sat next to Bronte on the edge of the clearing where the two alphas were. He and Bronte were silent.

Howler perked his ears. He looked at Emerald and came up on the other side of Cody and Bronte.

((He's already dead.))

Dusk's ears perked up when he heard some of the wolves coming, sitting up and shaking his head quickly to get rid of the wetness on his cheeks. "Hail's dead." He said stiffly, getting to his feet before looking at Cody and Bronte. "Take his body back to camp." Dusk said harsher then he meant to before stalking out of the clearing with his head lowered and tail flicking.

Rosie didnt believe it. She snarled and went into the woods.

Cody and Bronte looked at each other, shook their heads, and then carried it back to camp.

Dusk stopped at his den and went inside, curling up in the back of it with his back to the entrance as he took in a deep breath and closed his eyes, ignoring the small cut in his shoulder where the moose had clipped him.

Rosie stood at the outside of Dusks den. " You know now that you are the only alpha you should really get out there before things get out of hand." She said coldly, her eyes icy.

Dusk flicked his ears back at Rosie's comment, resisting the large urge to snap at her. He only grunted and brushed past her on his way out of his den with his head held high as he awaited for Hail's body to be brought back. Dusk settled down in the middle of camp, shoulders hunched and ears against his head.

Rosie smirked and growled, she was not going to stand by and watch this pack fall to the ground. " Maybe you should give the alpha position to someone who can handle it." she muttered.

Bronte, with Cody's help set the body down by Dusk. They had made a stop and washed his wounds so it didnt look that bad.

Dusk whirled around with fangs bared and tail up. "You mean someone like you?" He asked coldly, a flash of ire in his amber eyes.

Rose considered this for a moment, " Yes, exactly someone like me. I am fast, cunning, a great hunter, excellent healer. But a fantastic leader." He said and smiled mockingly at him, her tail high, her fangs showing.

"Your also arrogant." He snapped, growling at her.

Rose smiled mockingly. "Guilty as charged." She said and growled back.
