Vallerie growled to cover up the whimper in her throat. She dived, jaws wide open, snapping them around Bronte's front leg like a metal trap set to spring.

Sauver had been eying the fattest one, a plump female herding around a couple of hatchlings. As she prepared to take to the sky he jumped out of the shadows and pounced on her, plucking her up by the neck and shaking his head from side to side. She lay limp in his mouth as he dragged her over to where Mekah was.

Vallerie squirmed beneath the much larger wolf. She bucked and attempted to snap again at another of Bronte's legs, but missed.

Sauver nodded. "Thanks," he said. "Let's bring the big one back to the others and eat the smaller one."

Hailstorm looked around the area, using all of his senses to find Dusk. He wanted to hunt, and he hadn't really seen Dusk around much.

Dusk yawned and sat up with a quick shake of his coat, a small cloud of dust falling out of it before he got up to his feet with tired eyes. Wonder where Hail is. He thought to himself, deciding it would be fun to have a hunt with the other alpha. Turning to Zeke, he prodded him with his nose, making the old-timer snort and wake up. "Ugh, what'da want kid." He growled at him slightly. "Have you seen Hailstorm anywhere?" Dusk asked, smirking as Zeke shook his head and lay it back down between his paws. "Never mind then." Dusk murmured with a chuckle before setting off to go find him.
