[ it's fine xD okay, let's delve into my imagination a little. There's a kind of campfire thing in the middle that they light every night and the older ones talk until they fall asleep or get drunk or whatever. Some people know how to hunt or know how to use their powers to hunt and do, but they mostly steal food when they can when people go into the nearest town in disguise. There's no training place or anything: they can just wanted around and try not to die. Everyone kind of relies on everyone for everything. SHARING IS CARING.

May-lee's always loved the unique, sort of specialness about her double-barell first name. Never, never in her life has she met another girl with the same first name as her. However, she despises her second name : Smith. May-lee complains that, "You get all excited seeing the first name and thinking about how wild and cool and exotic and crazy and generally epic it is then you got to Smith and, like, die of boredom." May-lee has no middle name(s).

May-lee celebrated her fourteenth birthday in style on the fourth of February by going skydiving and deciding to jump out the plane before her instructor was fully strapped in. Thankfully, no one got hurt. Then her parents found out and she hasn't really celebrated it since.

May-lee has long, untidy hair that falls to mid-chest height; a deep blondey-brown colour with fluorescent streaks dyed in - the colour of the streaks change every month. Her eyes are an iridescent blue. May-lee has a heart-shaped face with high cheekbones and thin lips, her skin being a soft, tanned golden brown. She stands at about 5 2" and has always been a little self-conscious about her height - saying that she's way too short for her age - but you wouldn't know it by the way she charges around yelling random things. May-lee does however take advantage of her height to knee annoying people effectively between the legs. She's fairly skinny due to being anorexic until the age of thirteen but has never really managed to gain back any weight so is still stick-thin and light as ever.

May-lee has always known she's slightly … special.
She has the occasional tendencies to run down corridors screaming the first word that comes to her mind; start pillow fights in the middle of the day; pop up in random places, yell something along the lines of 'boo' then disappear mysteriously; scream her head of for five minutes straight; grin creepily; hug people for absolutely no reason, refusing to let go for at least ten minutes et cetera. It's almost impossible for her to stay quiet or still for longer than a few minutes - there always seems to be a finger drumming an abstract beat here or a knee bouncing there, and there's always something more to add to the conversation. As formerly mentioned, May-lee sticks to her motto of "actions first, consequences never" and hardly ever stops to think about the results of the next crazy thing she tries to do.
Although her singing voice is absolutely terrible, she insists on taking her iPod absolutely everywhere with her, the very latest songs blaring into her ears at a dangerous volume.
She's always full of energy and ready to run around in circles for half an hour, spend a few minutes attacking a teacher with wads of screwed up paper or to do her favourite thing in the world: track. May-lee fell in love with track from the first moment she laid eyes on it and has therefore great stamina and speed. Her laugh is incredibly infectious.
May-lee doesn't just go against the grain but pretends the grain isn't even there, saying neigh to the norm and doing whatever it is she wants to do - regardless of how silly it may be. Her carefree attitude is admirable in that sense, and she hardly ever gets discouraged when people don't quite 'get' her sense of randomness and laughter.
So, to conclude:

May-lee's never really shown any interest in having a relationship with anyone. I mean, what time in the world is there for boys when you've got corridors to fill with the sound of footsteps and yelling? She treats boys and girls exactly the same and never really flirts. No past-relationships, no crushes and zero boyfriends.

May-lee's power is the ability to fly. She absolutely loves it.

Her past's nothing much. May-lee grew up in a small, uneventful town in west England, with a retired couple for neighbours on one side and an unemployed man in his late fifties on the other. She was generally a bit of a rebel in her old school, toilet-papering the gym with her mates one day and spray-painting the head teacher's car the next. Her parents weren't protective or strict in the slightest, letting her stay out as late as she wanted and mix with whatever crowd she chose. May-lee's older brother graduated when she was twelve and is currently residing in a university on the other side of England. At fourteen her parents found out about her power when she randomly started floating up into the air at random moments that she couldn't control. They called the police .. she ran away .. she met GALE .. and she became a Secret and has live in the camp ever since.

Riley almost fell over when Gale flopped right against her, pushing all his body weight on her. She managed to stay up and continue to hold him. He was obviously very, very tired. They had been up for almost a whole twenty four hours. Riley was exhausted also, but probably not as much as Gale.

She gave him another squeeze and rubbed her fingers through his hair. "No problem." Riley whispered soothingly. After about ten minutes, her back felt like it was about to explode from holding all of his weight. "Gale, you are crushing me." She stated meekly.

Riley's suspicions were completely true. As the clock on the car slowly worked it's way forwards to 00:27 Gale realised that he hadn't slept in thirty hours and had basically been living off coffee while driving to the small town for the past two days. Then he'd had to cope with the adrenaline rush of drivig like crazy away from the ice-cream man. Then he'd made the mega-storm which had sapped away what little energy remained. Now that he was here, in the dark and warm and comfortable it was so, so hard to not just drift off into … blissfull … unconsciousness …
Her words forced his eyes open and he remembered that yes, he had sort of collapsed. "Sorry." Said Gale, his voice low and hoarse. Sitting up brought coloured lights to his vision and he groaned, rubbing his temples. "Oh s---. Ow."
