Thornstar left the medicine cats den and interrupted Hopefall. "How much prey did you catch? Were there any strange scents? Did you see anything odd?"

*hope turned to thornstar* nothing this time and no there wasn't anything out of the ordinary

"Good. Take Nightclaw and someone else with you. These are hard times and I don't want any thiefs found this leaf bare."

Eaglekit stumbled out of the nursery. She wanted to eat solid foods like big cats. She dug through the fresh kill pile until she found the tail of a huge salmon someone caught earlier, and tried to drag the thing back to the nursery.
