Personality: A lazy-assed person through and through with a knack for being able to avoid work. He tends to be rather empathetic, and trying to make him guilty is useless, seeing as he rarely even shows any emotion except complete and utter boredom. However, he's rather punctual and fast in his ways so if you get left behind, don't expect him to slow down for you. He threw away the thinking box a long time ago and tends to come up with the most insane ideas though they don't usually end up the way he initially plans them to.

A single figure could be seen on the beach, hardly disguised on the pale sand. Everything about her stood out. Her hair was highlighted with purple, her tank top was the same shade of shockingly bright purple. A hoodie sat on the sand next to her, and on it sat a black sketchbook.

Piper sighed, studying the most recent picture she'd drawn. It really was depressing. The scene depicted in it, anyways. She didn't want to brag, but she was pretty good at drawing. Not that anyone else knew. Deciding to be lazy, she shut the book with her telekinesis, and fell backwards onto the sand.

It's kind of strange, she thought absently, directing her gaze to the building on the hillside. As if it was meant to purposely isolate us abnormalities of the human race. She snorted, rolling her eyes. Her dad had shipped her here as soon as he heard about it. If she had her choice, she'd still be back home. But she didn't have her choice. So she'd just have to stick it out.

Piper sat back up, pulling her knees into her chest. She let her bangs fall into her face, something that usually bothered her, and rested her chin on her knees. She wrapped her arms around her legs, and stared out at the rolling turquoise waves.

I ran the brush through my brown hair with a sigh. It was almost afternoon, the sun high. No I didn't gliter in the sun like those Twilight vampires nor did I survive on animal blood. Even though I was a vegitarian, I still fed off of the main blood stream. I just didn't eat animals. I stepped away from my bathroom mirror and picked up my new sunglasses. the sun didn't make me burn up, it just hurt my eyes slightly. I took the stairs two at a time and yanked open my front door, shooing back the tabby cat that peeked her head out the door.

I ran down the hill, the hill reminding me of my hometown Sanfranciso. Yes I could have done that thing, my abnormality, that took me here to get to the bottom of the great hill, but where was the fun in that? Ok, the real reason I didn't just poof from here to there is that I couldn't go that far yet. I could maybe get about half way done the hill, but the sudden change of land below my feet would surely cause me to roll the rest of the way down the hill. My sneakers flopped against the sidewalk as I took a turn and headed for the beach.

History: Reese had always known she wasn't like the other kids at school. And she hated it. She never quite mustered up the courage to talk about it with her single mother. She resented her mystery father for making her like this, and then leaving without so much as a goodbye note. After being raised in the suburbs of northern Missouri, and finding time every night to shift and just...be, she realized her so thought 'curse' was actually a gift. Once she accepted the fact that she would never be normal, she learned to finally accept herself. She spent a lot of time moving from place to place with her mother to run away from the questions and the answers her mother didn't want to acknowledge.

Personality: Reese is a laid back girl with a bright sense of humor. She finds it hard to stay mad at someone for long, and she usually tries to stay on everyone's good side. She grew up reading fairy tales and princess stories (supernatural)that intoxicated her mind with wishes of happiness and true love. She likes to believe if it hadn't been for those stupid stories she'd be tough enough to survive as a hybrid. As she grew older, her fatherless life of constant fleeting and lying flattened her dreams and she finally realized she'd been wasting her time hoping that a fairy godmother would come to make everything normal for once. Anyways, she's friendly, but she won't speak just to fill awkward silences, she likes to have a point to everything she says. That and she believes sometimes silence has a few things of its own to say.

Abnormality: She is part human-part dragon.
History: She became part dragon as she was a small experiment, when scientist tried to create a dragon. The scientists mixed the elements that you use to create fire with reptilian and bat DNA (Fire breathing, strength, scaley armour and wings), and inserted this into a human embro (Size and inteligence). Kat grew up in a normal home, but was constantly monitered by scientists in different rooms, under the guise of them being family. When she discoved the abilities or abnormality she had, and the scientists secret, she ran and found Seaside hights.
Looks: Like this, but with the wings and scales like this dragon.
Scales are: on her arms, where a short sleeved top is, a few on her cheeks, some down her legs and all over her back.
Personality:
Kat’s personality greatly depends on who she’s with, and what they happen to be speaking about. If she is with friends, or at the least someone she has been hanging with for a couple of days, she’ll be fairly friendly, and participate in conversation. If she is with someone she hates, she’ll either be very rude, or ignore them. People she regards with suspicion are normally ignored also.
She has a very bad temper and can get into heated arguments with anyone, especially over food. She is irritable and rude, with a selfish streak as well. She is skilled in street fighting and uses that to her advantage in fights with others.
She believes in looking after “number one”, but will help those in need with a rare tenderness and protect them with her life. Kindness is reached by close friendship, and love is rare than anything. She’s brave, and will never let you down, but a stubborn streak makes her never back down.
She’s a lost soul really, and needs someone to look out for her, emotion wise.

When her bangs began to irritate her, she brushed them angrily out of the way with a toss of her head. She leaned back again, putting most of her weight on her hands, then pushed herself up to her feet. casting one more glance at the water, she turned and began walking down the beach.

After a bit, she realized that she had forgotten her hoodie and sketchbook. She rolled her eyes, turning around. Of course, she'd walked far enough that she couldn't see it anymore. Had she really practiced with her telekinesis, she could have moved them towards her, but at this point she still needed to see the object before she could move it. So, she began to walk back in the direction from which she had come.
