Summerpaw, Topazpaw and Thornpaw all charged over to their mother, Summerpaw glanced at Pondweed.

Mapleleaf padded into the nursery and mewed, "Mum, I, I want to nurse my kits..."

Redpaw finally caught scent of a thrush before charging straight up the tree and lunging at the bird. She caught it, killing it and leapt down and ran back to camp.

[wolf ;;]

"You know how you were always asking who your father was?" Firepetal asked her six kits. Leafpaw, Breezepaw and Mudpaw nodded.

"Are you sure?" Butterflight meowed, looking at her daughter.

Splashpaw still waited.

[walk.]

Redpaw ran into the apprentices den and mewed, panting, "There... One... Fresh..... Thrush...."

Mapleleaf nodded and mewed, "I'll announce it to the clan."

Summerpaw mewed, "Yeah?" Thornpaw nodded along with Topazpaw.

[wolf ;;]

Splashoaw flicked his ears. "Thanks."

Butterflight nodded, and she got to her paws.

Firepetal took a deep breath, then she explained how Pondweed was their father. Leafpaw, Breezepaw and Mudpaw didn't know what to say.

Redpaw lay down in her nest and sighed, resting her head on her paws.

Mapleleaf mewed, "Thank you, Mum. Thanks for everything, for looking after the kits and just being there for me when I needed you." then she mewed, "Will they accept me as their mum?"

Summerpaw growled, Topazpaw shook slightly but Thornpaw nodded.

[wolf ;;]

Splashpaw looked at Redpaw. "Are you ok?"

Butterflight nodded. "Your my daughter, I would do anything to help you." She meowed, then she nodded again. "The kits are still young, they will accept you as their mother."

Firepetal looked at the six kits, waiting for one of them to say something.

[walk.]

Redpaw mewed, "What would you do if you were expecting someone's kits, at an apprentice age and were not allowed to tell them?"

Mapleleaf smiled and rubbed her muzzle against her mother's neck. She sat in next to the kits and mewed, "Could you tell Moonstar for me? About the kits I mean."

Summerpaw growled, "And you never told us."

[wolf ;;]

"Well, no matter who told me not to tell the cat, I would still tell, because I wouldn't lie to a cat or keep a secret from them." Splashpaw meowed.

Butterflight nodded. "Sure." She meowed, and she padded out of the nursery.

"No, I never told you. I couldn't." Firepetal meowed.

[walk.]

Redpaw sighed and mewed, "Splashpaw, star clan has made me pregnant with your kit's."

Mapleleaf sighed, sitting down and nudged her kits and she called, "Also get me some borage!"

Summerpaw growled and stormed into the apprentice's den.

[wolf ;;]

"W-WHAT?!" Splashpaw hissed.

Butterflight nodded, and she went to Moonstar and told him about the kits before she got some borage for Mapleleaf.

Mudpaw followed silently after his sister, and Firepetal looked at the others.
