Moonstar nodded. "It will remain Pondweed."

Pondweed nodded and mewed, "Also, I came to ask you, Mintkit has been helping out Skyfoot and I, so I'd like her to be Skyfoot's medicine cat apprentice, when the time comes, she has agreed."

Moonstar nodded. "Of course."

Splashpaw overheard Pondweed, and he went looking for Redpaw.

[walk.]

Pondweed nodded and mewed, "Alright, I'll go and tell Winterkit!" he also wanted to see Firepetal.

Redpaw lay asleep in her nest, resting her shoulder.

[wolf ;;]

Moonstar nodded. "Alright." He meowed, and he looked at Skyfoot. The calico dipped his head to Moonstar before he padded away.

Splashpaw padded into the apprentices den and prodded Redpaw. "Redpaw?"

Pondweed padded to the nursery and found Firepetal clearing out her nest and purred, "There's no need for that."

Redpaw grunted, "That's my sore shoulder you twit."

[wolf ;;]

Firepetal looked up, and she flicked her tail. "Why?"

"Sorry." Splashpaw meowed.

[walk.]

Pondweed mewed, "Because I want you to be my mate Firepetal, I have stopped being a medicine cat. And I have always loved you but you know I could never show it."

Redpaw mewed, "Well now you've woken me, what do you want."

Firepetal blinked her eyes. "Really?"

"You owe me a thrush." Splashpaw meowed.
