Don't know why, but I have an issue with them. When someone comes to me with a paperclip, it's like blatantly stating, "I know my pet is worth less than yours but we should still trade because it's a paperclip."

I'm all for "Up trading", but do you have to be so obvious? I once turned (up traded) a BA into a UR Butterwolf + Non-Coon through many many trades, but that was WAY before "Paperclipping" became such a hit.

This. I prefer to ask and be asked to overpay, not this blatant statement of "I need you to overpay because I've added a fancy title and a song to it".

Whenever my mom and I send my Dad grocery shopping, this always happens..
Dad bought two big bottles of orange juice when we wanted an orange.
Mom needed plain flour to make something, Dad brought bread flour.
..plus he brought me croissants instead of biscuits..
I think it's time I went shopping myself. -_-

okay, this is not right. it takes me an hour just to find one token. then i have to wait twenty minutes before i can look for another hour for just one stupid token. something just is not right here.

also, tawny's account is having trouble finding tokens, as well. she still finds more than me, and faster, though... >-> but the problem with hers is that she only gets bats and lollies. no exception. she has five bats and five lollies right now. she started out with 0 candies (when i first started taking care of her account on november first), and i have clicked tokens to get these candies. but i got five bats and five lollies. let me reiterate: something is not right here.

Use Firefox, get the snaplinks addon, go to the members list and open 10 or so members in different tabs. Every once in a while I'll need to open them twice but it gets me candy in less than a minute
