Jakei looked at Yuri and nodded. "Well, mice hear you before they smell you, so we need to work on your stealth crouch. Make sure that if you do make sound, you stop immediately, though it is unlikely that the mouse won't scurry away." He slouched into a tight crouch, making sure his paws were lighter than air when they touched the ground, then he pulled up.
"Let me see you do it." He said to his apprentice and nodded encouragingly.

Jupiter padded around restlessly, then decided to pay Bluebell a visit. She found her scent mixed with the many other foxes that belonged to the leash and whispered a quiet hello. "I just wanted to drop in to say hello and to see how you were doing. I heard that you are going to have Creo's children. I wanted to tell you that I have no aversion to that. Your children shouldn't be blamed for the wrongs their father did. I support you fully. And maybe you already knew that. I just wanted to let you know, seeing that some of the others might give you some difficulty. She cast her eyes down and shuffled her paws.

Flare quietly padded after Raven. He would wait for her to talk first instead of lunging into something he didn't know how to handle. Sitting down on his haunches he looked expectatly at Raven gazing into her beautiful eyes.

"No I don't" Jingle said in an annoyed tone. Though she did notice what Apollo and Phantom had done. SHe grabbed a stick and tried to be as careful as possible while picking berries of these prickly branches. She ignored Apollo and Phantom as they talked about those mushrooms and just concantrated on her work.

"Oh... Okay." Wisp said nervously. She cautiously picked up the needle and the vine and held them very close to her eyes. She shut one and looked through the hole of the needle. Painstakingly, she brought the vine to the hole and had to try what seemed like a million times to finally get it through. Then, with the threaded needle in her mouth, she picked up the two halves of the leaf and held them together in one paw. Holding the needle in the other, she stabbed it through both halves of the leaf and looped it back to the front side to repeat the process. Once she was done, Wisp opened the leaf and looked at her work, considering the crooked stitches and uneven loops. She looked at Shiko expectantly.

Yuri watched his mentor as intently as he possible could. "Okay!" he nodded. Convinced that he had memorized the crouch. He scrunched himself up and lowered himself to the ground, ears pinned back. He looked good, but when he attempted to move forward lightly, he tripped on his own feet. His eyes then watched a small fly buzz by before he realized he had fallen. Springing to his feet, he tried again, this time looking a bit clumsy, but not falling down.

Shiko watched as her apprentice took her first try at stitching. "Mmm..." she hummed, as she looked at her apprentice's work. "Good for your first try." she nodded. "Now remove the stitches without harming the leaf." she instructed.

Bluebell lifted her head to look Jupiter in the eye. What Jupiter had told her sent warmth spreading through her stomach and her whole body. "Thank you, Jupiter," she said softly. "I love our leash-mates, I really do. But Creo really shook everyone up with what he did. I'm terrified that they will be afraid or angry at my children, and try to harm them. I can't let that happen." She let her eyes drift to the floor. "With your support, as well as Jingle's and Raven's, I believe that my cubs will be safe."

"Alrighty then!" Soul exclaimed, and flicking his tail to the two foxes, he left the camp at a brisk trot. The sunlight that filtered through the treetops warmed his pelt, and helped his aching muscles and hurting shoulder. The farther they went, the better Soul felt about everything, even after all that had to be dealt with this morning. He finally stopped in an area covered in undergrowth, and he raised his tail so that Leaf Fall and Heron would know to be quiet as he slowly crept forward towards the shadows.

Copper nodded and rolled his shoulders as he faced his mentor, trying to figure out what the best thing to do was. Suddenly, he dashed forward towards his mentor and spun at the last second, keeping his tails as swift as possible. He aimed for Ryuu's front paws and knocked him over. Because he had turned to knock the yellow fox down, he was in the perfect position to sit himself down and place his front paws at Ryuu's throat. "How's this?" he growled.

Raven sat down and faced Flare. The apprentice was already her size, and she knew that he would still be getting a little bigger. Her yellow eyes bored into his amber ones, almost as if she was trying to read into the depths of his heart and soul. Finally, she said quietly, "So, why did you say... that earlier?"

Heron followed Soul quietly. He looked up at his surroundings and took a minute to appreciate the greeness of the grass and the soft shadow of the cover of trees. When they went to the clearing, Heron saw Soul's signal and crouched, waiting silently.

Wisp stared at the sloppy work she had just done. "Are you sure? What's the purpose of this?" She sighed and untied the knot she had carefully tied to finish her stitches. Slowly and gently, she pulled the vine from the string. Success! she quietly celebrated, then moved on to the next loop. Unfortunately, as she got near the end of the loop, her paw slipped and she tore the next three loops right out of the leaf. Trying one more time, Wisp slowly took the next loop out. Then she slipped again. Getting frustrated and giving up, she tore the rest of the vine out of the leaf, tearing it to pieces. I'll never be good enough...

"Because..." Flare began but he stutterd for a momet before he continued "Because I truly do love you Raven..." He paused for a second to let her take in what he had just said " I can never take my eyes of you,ever since I met you. You alway's made me happy and cheerful and I love that about you more than anything else. I love your compassion for me even when I came back from being with" Flare stopped again as a tear rolled down his cheek "Creo, You excepted me back into your life without a second thought" Just as he said the last word more tears rolled down his face. " I have never known true love....Except from you...."

The tears were now streaming down Raven's face as well as she looked at the mature and handsome fox in front of her. His words had moved her in ways she'd thought impossible. "Oh Flare," she choked, hesitantly taking a step forward and wrapping her paws around his back, burrowing her face in his neck. "I... I love you too. I've loved you since Soul brought you and Creo into the leash, and I prayed night after night to Kinari that I would get to mentor you, and ohh, when I did..." She trailed off, remembering how happy she was at the time, though her voice darkened a bit as she continued, "I almost thought I had to stop loving you when Creo began to manipulate you with Zargon, but when I'd look into your eyes, I saw the real Flare, and I knew that you'd always have my heart." She continued to cry silently, staining Flare's fur. She never thought this day would come, or what had possessed Flare to finally tell her how he felt, but she was happier than she'd ever been in her life. Thank you Kinari, she thought silently before quietly saying, "I'm so glad we can be together..."
