Ileana watched Mark close the door to his room, when the other scientists headed off to their own rooms, Ileana made a trip to the computer lab. Hooking up her web cam, she checked around to make sure no one was still potentially awake to hear in on the conversation. When she was sure that the building was full of sleeping scientists, she made the call to Paul. After the third webcam ring, Paul came on with a steak over one eye and his left arm in a sling as he said.
"Is she gone?"
"Yes, her mother took her away today; they left the school not too long ago. They were heading on the Western side of Henry Street to the Shadow Woods. If we make our attack there tonight they will hopefully be caught off guard," Ileana said.
"It won't work, remember Alpha has supper hearing? She will pick us up a mile away if she doesn't read our minds first, she's a force to be reckoned with and one wrong move could get us both killed," Paul said.
"Or we could use that weapon Mark made for if Alpha lost control over her powers," Ileana said. Paul was now very interested in this.
"What weapon?" Paul asked leaning in closer to hear her better.
"He made this stun gun that if you point it at Alpha it will stun her to the point where she won't be able to use any of her powers for a good 48 hours, enough time for us to get her safely and lock her up in a much sturdier place for later usage," Ileana said matching Paul's eagerness.
"Hmmm, that could be a very good possibility, we mustn't act tonight though, it’s way too risky. Get some more information on Alpha for me and get back to me, when we have a much bigger and better idea about her we will launch our attack," Paul said.
"Very well," and with that Ileana ended the call and headed to her own room to sleep.

Alpha followed her mother deep into the Shadow woods; she was finally going to be able to meet her real family, the ones she would have known a long time ago if Mark hadn't enhanced her. Eager with joy at the ones she will see she kept asking her mother questions like "How are they?" or "How nice are they?" or "Are you sure I will find someone right for me?" Mindi would answer all her questions the best she could but she mostly just told her to wait and see and she will find out for herself.
As they neared the den site, Alpha could already smell the other wolves there, she smiled from ear to ear, here was her chance to finally be able to bond with her long lost family! Peeking through the bushes, Alpha saw many werewolves, all black, brown, white or russet fur. Some even were a little bit yellow! Alpha took her time in taking in all the features of her family, all her aunts and uncles, grandmas and grandpa’s; she wanted to remember every one of them the best to her advantage. Mindi stood beside her and allowed Alpha to take it all in, smiling from time to time. She was glad to finally have her daughter back but she was also worried that there was a good chance that they might not find the one male who will prevent Alpha from going into the dormant state and dying, she was even beginning to have second thoughts on having taken her away from Mark and the school. When Alpha was ready to head in and meet her family, Mindi said.
"Wait here and let me prepare them for you, best to not startle them into attacking."
"Ok," Alpha said and sat down in her spot as Mindi walked into the clearing. Seeing her everyone swarmed around her smelling her fur and talking to her at the same time. One of the black wolves asked.
"Where were you and why do you smell like humans?"
"What is that other scent I smell on you?" A white wolf said, Alpha guessed that was her aunt.
"Guys, guys," her mother said "chill, I just went to find my daughter that's all."
"But your daughter is dead Mindi," and older yellowish looking she-wolf said, Alpha also betted that that was her grandmother.
"No she isn't, I thought she was too but it turns out she was alive all this time! However, she is slightly different from us; she had been enhanced by Mark, the man who said he was looking for a werewolf embryo?" All the wolves nodded.
"Well, he had Alpha and enhanced her, she now has every power anyone could ever think of, but there is one problem. We need to find her a mate before her 20th birthday or she will go in a dormant state and eventually die!" Mindi said to them, everyone looked at her both frightened and shocked.
"But how will we be able to find someone like that? There may be a lot of males around but I don't think anyone of them could possibly be able to be the one to stop what will happen to Alpha!" a white wolf said worriedly.
"If we can't find one in our area we will begin looking in the human section, maybe we will find someone there for her as well," Mindi suggested.
"But anyway, I want you all to meet Alpha!" Alpha came out of the bushes, everyone looked up at her and a brown wolf said.
"Wow, she looks so much like you Mindi!"
"I know right?" Mindi said.
"Look at how pretty she is," a russet wolf added.
"She could be a super model!" another yellowish wolf said and started sniffing her. He backed up and snorted.
"But she smells a lot like a human!" He added.
"Well that's because she had been around humans so their scent kind of rubbed off on her, a few days with us and she will have the right scent to her," Mindi said looking at Alpha.
"There is also another problem I need to address to everyone now that you are here," Mindi said and sat next to Alpha.
"There is a man after Alpha who wants to use her powers for evil gain, we need to prevent him from getting anywhere near Alpha the best we can. Should she fall within his hands, he will use her to destroy us all!" Mindi said making everyone gasp in fright.
"I don't want to hurt anyone or be used," Alpha said. "I fought him once but I don't know if I can do it again."
"Don't worry dear, that's why you have us, a pack stands up for all of its members," Mindi said easing Alpha's fears.
"Yup, and besides, you're family so we only need to up the protection even more. You are the only pup of this pack so in other words you are really our only future, without you this pack could cease to exist!" Alpha's grandmother said to her.
"So I need to help you guys out as well?" Alpha asked. "I can do that I hope."
"That's my girl," Mindi said and smiled at her. "Now let's get you in your bed so you can get some rest."
Alpha followed Mindi and was soon passed out cold.

Paul sat at his desk looking at the files that he managed to get before being kicked out. Checking out the information, he noticed something in particular that struck his mind as very interesting. Apparently in some other lab in Colorado, there was a boy who was a little bit like Alpha, granted he didn’t have everything she had but he had pretty close to it. Smiling, Paul decided to use this boy to his advantage, if he could get him on his side than he can use him to bring Alpha to his place and then he won’t only have 1 but 2 super enhanced beings in his care to do whatever he pleased with them. Placing the file away in a safe place he headed off to bed to plot and plan on how he would get his hands on the boy.

The morning light blinded Alex as he was waking up. Looking around his room, he marveled at how the sunlight made his yellow walls glow under its bright light. The woman who had created him gave him his own room to make him feel as human as she could so he wouldn’t feel so different from everyone else; he even attended normal school like a normal kid would. Climbing out of his bed, he ruffled his already messed up hair as he let himself fully wake up. It was Sunday and Alex had to get ready to head to church, it was all part of their agreement. If Alex attended church for three months straight, he would be allowed to go on a trip to another research lab and learn all about the other specimen that was created there. The only thing he knew was that the girls name was Alpha and she was more powerful than anyone could ever comprehend, he also learned of her recent leaving with her mother who had claimed her and taken her away. Standing up, Alex headed to the bathroom in his room and prepared for his day, it was after all the last day for the deal; soon he would be allowed to go meet this girl for the first time.

Alpha woke up to a wet nose on her face; trying to brush it away she soon felt somewhat rough fur. Opening her eyes she jumped up startled at seeing her mother just a few inches from her smiling at her like it was funny.
"Hello sleeping beauty," Mindi said to Alpha. "Time to rise and shine, its schooling time!"
"Again? I thought I was done with school!" Alpha complained like any normal kid would.
"For Mark you were but not for me!" Mindi said and stood up. "Today you learn how to change into a wolf and back and hunt, plus fighting."
"Will my powers still be able to work when I'm a wolf mom?" Alpha asked her.
"That I do not know but we will find out now won't we?" Mindi said. "Hurry up and get ready, I want you to meet us outside in 20 minutes topes, come late and there will be consequences." Mindi stood up and padded out of the den. Groaning, Alpha rubbed her sleepy eyes, looking around it took her a while to remember everything that had happened to her the day before this, now that she was in her new home with her real family she didn't really know what to think, especially about the idea of her having to find a lifelong mate before her 20th birthday. How on earth will I be able to find someone who is right for me? It’s not like I can be like normal girls Alpha thought to herself. Stretching she headed out the cave entrance, better to not keep them waiting and get the day done and over with so she could climb back in bed and sleep some more.

Mindi looked at her daughter as she came out the cave, smiling she said.
"All right, lesson number 1, phasing."
"How do you expect me to do that?" Alpha asked.
"Easy, imagine yourself as a wolf then embrace it, when you open your eyes you will have changed," Mindi instructed. Alpha closed her eyes and imagined herself as a wolf, when she opened them she was the same level as her mother.
"Did I do it? Or am I just kneeling from exhaustion?" Alpha asked mostly joking.
"Nope, you have changed," Mindi said and showed Alpha to a puddle to get a good look at herself. Glimpsing her new form in the murky water she was amazed to see that this form looked pretty good for her, everything was amazing at this level and colors took on a new hue. Looking at her mother's pack she smiled and said.
"It's amazing! Is this what it’s like being a wolf?"
"It gets better, the speed is intensifying and will really sweep you off your feet," her aunt said.
"But I already have super speed," Alpha said lowering her head. Is there anything she didn't have that her new form did?
"But that will only make you an even better hunter. While we ambush the prey, you can use that speed of yours and chase them for much longer distances in a much shorter time frame than what we could ever do," her mother said trying to comfort her.
"But I could also leave you guys far behind and be in a different country and not know it," Alpha said.
"Who cares? I've always like foreign food anyways," Mindi said. "So shall we begin to lesson 2?"
"Why not? We already made it through lesson 1 so might as well continue," Alpha said shrugging her white shoulders.
"Very well, now on to hunting!" Mindi said and rallied everyone up and led them into the woods.
"The rule to catching your prey without really having to run them down is ambushing them and to do that you need to come on them with the wind blowing against you so they don't pick up your scent. You also may want to be careful where you step to, any rustling leaves or twigs breaking will give away our position and the prey will get away," Mindi whispered in Alpha's ear.
"So what do you do if you're hunting in an open field?" Alpha asked.
"Remain motionless the best you can and make sure the wind is blowing against you still, if they don't pick up your scent there is a good chance they won't run so long as you don't move until they look away," Mindi answered.
"This all sounds very complicated," Alpha said.
"It will be for a first timer but once you get the hang of it, you will find that hunting will come natural to you," her uncle said beside her. "Many pups have a difficult time catching their first prey on their first hunt so don’t worry if you don't catch anything."
"Ben, she will catch some prey, we have to have the upmost confidence in her, besides she doesn't have a normal werewolf speed remember? The prey won't know what hit them when she comes at them!" Mindi said in a low tone so not to startle the herd of grazing deer in front of them.
"As you see Alpha, the pack has designated areas that they take up while during an ambush, everyone has to participate if we want any chance of bringing home something to eat," Mindi said. "Your job as the newbie here is to chase the prey in the direction of the other pack members who will launch their attack and together we will bring the prey down and have a nice dinner."
"Ok, sounds simply enough," Alpha said and prepared for her job. When everyone was in position Alpha rushed out at the deer startling them into a run, she had already found the one she wanted to try to take down. The deer she had her eyes on was a muscular young buck in the front. Zoning in on her prey she pushed up her speed a notch or two and was soon running side by side with the young buck who tried to out maneuver her. Alpha however did not let the moves stop her; launched with her back feet she snapped her teeth into the young bucks throat and brought him down like she saw the others do with their own prey. Hanging on to the struggling animal, Alpha waited until he completely stopped breathing before digging into her meal.

When church was over, Alex walked out into the bright sunlight. It was turning out to be a beautiful day today, perfect for a trip to New York and meet up with this other kid like himself. He was pleased to learn that he wasn’t the only one out there with powers, even though he didn’t have everything Alpha had he had a good deal of it. Walking down the sidewalk to his home, Alex had a sense of feeling that he was being watched by someone or something, looking around he searched all corners and shadows that could possibly hid a person from his sight. Finding nothing out of the ordinary Alex continued on his way.
When Alex arrived at his home, Violet came out with a wet dish towel and a plate in one hand, smiling she asked.
“So what did you learn today in church Alex?”
“Same old thing like every Sunday, they really need to change it up a bit, people are getting so bored in there,” Alex replied.
“It’s church, you’re not there to really have fun but learn about God and his creations,” Violet said. “It’s not supposed to be fun but education.”
“I get that enough at school, I don’t need to learn about this as well,” Alex said, really he hated going there. He didn’t much like the preacher of the church either, it seemed like every time Alex went there he was always looking at him as if he sensed that he wasn’t like everyone else there. He also didn’t like the wooden pews, they hurt after a while when you sit on them for too long and the statues are just plain old creepy, it’s like they are staring into your soul, or so that’s what it felt like to Alex anyways.
“I’m going up to pack ok Violet?” Alex said and started heading up the stairs to his room.

Paul watched from the black car deep within the ally way that the boy had walked by not too long ago. He knew instantly that the boy who came out of the church was the one he was searching for and when he had looked around as if he sensed his presence he knew than that he was indeed what he wanted. Paul laughed to himself, this was starting to turn out to be way too easy, soon he will have one and with him he will lure Alpha to her own capture than he will be the most powerful man in the whole world! No one would mess with him or mock him anymore for they will either be dead or enslaved and forced to work for him. Starting the car when the boy left he quietly followed him to his home where he parked behind a huge tree and watched the house, when night time comes he would make his move and capture Alex while he still could.

Wow, this is good! I've only read the prologue, but I'll definitely be reading more!

Thanks I'm also using my school computer's word document to help me edit some words and right punctuations in the right places. So really most of the new chapters I add up will be done on my laptop and edited at school. I don't have anything on here that can correct spelling and stuff
