Well, I just found the angel. It's missing an eye and most of it's fins, but for the most part, has not been eaten. I'll have to go get a replacement. Man, I liked that gold one. None of the other fish are showing any signs of problems, so no idea why it died. Everybody is active and acting normal.

Also, I joined the Angelfish.net forum, and I found another member there, in my city! Never expected to find anybody that close. lol

Aww, poor fish. Glad you get to replace it.

Angels take ages to grow <.> I've had my 6 for probably 2 months and I can't tell much of a different. But I'm telling you, I'm in love with the koi angel I have <3

Maigod!!! My mom bought 12 more goldies!! Yay! I got 18 now!! And, this really surprised me - she also bought 4 small gourami!! I just hope she doesn't have any crazy ideas and make them into dinner when they get bigger. Their quite small, I think around 4 inches. I can raise the water, if it's too low, but maybe later.

So... Turns out both my angles are actually female! Just saw my black marble (hero) laying eggs how odd lol
Guess I don't have to worry about babys then but it's odd they keep laying eggs and guarding them together like they are a pair.. :/
I just guessed the black one was a male as she was the most aggressive towards the other angel we had (hallow) and would stick with the white marble (angel) and angel is the fat one full of eggs hero doesn't look fat at all... Lol

Have you seen Angel laying eggs, too? I just saw a pic of a pair on the angelfish forum I joined, and the male was the fat one.

Yep lol, I have seen them both laying eggs
Angel was last night then Hero was this morning but angel kept eating hero's eggs as she was laying them

I did abit of research and its not uncommon for females to do that and even for one to act like she's fertilising them :|

Fish are just so interesting. I got a new gold angel, btw. This one is in a QT tank, as there was a dead one in the tank at the store. Hopefully the striped and spotted one in the 55 doesn't have anything icky he brought with him.

They very much are

Might be getting an albino female BN this weekend and I'll try and convince my boyfriend fiancé to let me get one of those powder blue dwarf gourami I saw at the LPs the other weekend, he think they are cool but says I have enough fish... How can anyone have enough fish :?: :?: :?: :P
