The fight was nearing it's end, The Elder was wavering, and havning a hard time staying on her feet, but pepper was barely standing.

Max nervously ran her fingers through Mark's fur.

"I give in." Were the only words spoken through the silent crowd as the larger, and bloodier of the wolves laid down.

Pepper watched in shock as the elder laid down before her. and she raised her muzzle in victory, a long, happy yet sad howl.

Mark smiled and joined in with his friend, though his howl a deeper pitch, the sound mingled in the cold dark sky.

Max was smiling broadly.

Lacy smiled, and her high pitched howl joined in. she bounced through the crowd and ran into the circle, to congratulate Pepper, she smiled her little puppy body shaking with happiness. (She's the girl who's nine years old...)
