(Bramblestrike and Silverwater are out in the desert fighting Darksand and Starkwing who took Splashingriver captive. Dreamlight at camp had her kits. Echostar made a crutch for Splashingriver, whos shoulder is hurt ^^)

Echostar nodded. "We'll make it. Don't worry Splashingriver," she soothed padding behind him to watch for dangers. She knew he could do it. They slipped behind a rock. The perfect cover for an escape...

Splashingriver followed, trying to keep his crutch from making noise.

Echostar hoped that the grutch didn't break. It would ruin the plan. Was that Darksand dead? She hoped it was!

[Quitting•]

"Lead the way," Splashingriver told Echostar.

[dr. pugs]

Echostar nodded and slid between a thick gap between two rocks. Just wide enough to fit the crutch through. Up ahead sat more rocks. If she could just weave through them without being seen...

Splashingriver wove around the first set of boulders. "This walking style is getting easy," he meowed, smiling.

Bramblestrike looked down at his paws, red with Darksand's blood. He felt guilty for killing him, but he must protect his clanmates. It was the only way. He looked over to Silverwater, wondering if she needed help.

[Quitting•]

Starkwing fell to the ground, panting. "No more, please," she wheezed to Shadowfeather.

Silverwater stepped back from her mother, tears threatening to run.
