"There!" I whisper, droping to a crouch as I see a bird, fighting with a worm. I stalk up to it, almost getting to it as a twig snaps and I leap, claws unsheathed and grabbing at its tail and wings. I drag it dack down to the ground nad kill it. "Here. Is this a good catch?" I ask Tigerstep with a smile.

I nod at Riverice's catch. "Nice catch." I smile and look around, my ears flick.

Emberpaw followed behind the two warriors, his short legs working double to keep up with them. As they walked, he wondered why Brambleheart wanted them to split up. After all, Emberpaw had only gone hunting a few times, and rarely caught anything.

The trio soon came to the stream. A lot of the prey here was, well, fish. Looking up at Brambleheart expectantly, the apprentice waited for instruction. Bluefur, he figured, knew what she was doing.
