What exactly is a Maroon;
Maroons are a tiger-rabbit-dragon mix, they're about as big as Irish Wolfhounds when fully grown and have very thick, soft fur. They eat both meat and vegetables, but fruit tends to make them sick. A Maroon's two long, flowing whiskers are very sensitive and you should avoid touching them unless you know the Maroon very well. They are also very strong swimmers, and most can't resist jumping into water when they see it, even if they don't exactly fit in the kitchen sink.

Personality

Iris is different from the other Maroons. For example, she doesn’t mind being touched on the whiskers, the only time she does mind is when it is a stranger touching them. She doesn't like water THAT much though she does enjoy it, she wont jump into water right away. Iris is an easy truster, though if you break her trust she has a hard time regaining that trust. She becomes jumpy and alert. She, also, has a “big heart” meaning if she sees a creature in trouble or hurt she HAS to help/protect them, even when she doesn’t want to. This also means Iris is kind, even when she doesn’t want to. Her “big heart” can get in her way sometimes, such as she is nice to her enemies even if they are being rude and cruel to her. She hates being nice to them though she can’t help it. Iris, also, can get hyper very easily, especially when she is happy. When she does get hyper she is very hard to calm down, but eventually she puts herself to sleep. Usually she is calm, though.

Born and bred as a peacemaker and entertainer, Tai spends most of his time bringing smiles to the faces of those he meets. He's very genuine in his approach to most people and is fairly easy to trust. However, his kindness only reaches so deep. There are times when he can be ridiculously antisocial to the point of locking himself away for days. During these times, he can be heard muttering and growling, though almost no one knows why he's upset because he refuses to talk about it. When his antisocial mood finally passes, he returns to his usual self as if nothing had happened.
He really enjoys spending time outside in the sunshine because of the way it glitters on his fur and the awestruck looks that it brings to the faces of those around him. He prefers the spring season to the others due to his love for spring rain that makes the air smell fresh and clean and creates beautiful rainbows in the sky for everyone to enjoy.
