Mono's paws glowed red like burning embers. They began to heat up as he used all of his fire manipulation to surge into his paws. They were as hot as pokers. He leaped forwards, pressing his paws into the wolf's back. It yelped, and Mono felt a surge of adrenaline.

The yellow eyes turned towards her, showing pain and regret. She remembered them all too well. "Ayumaku" she whispered. The eyes widened slowly before he whimpered. "Why Ayumaku? I thought you were supposed to protect me?" she asked, stepping towards him, wincing at the pain in her paw. "He lowered his head in shame. "I didn't know it was you Ginny. You changed so much." the wolf hybrid muttered so only she can hear. " Ayumaku." she whimpered. "Why didn't you save him?" she wailed. Her eyes turned back to normal color and her gems died down, as well as the blizzard. "After all these years." she said. She stepped back. "Ginny." he whimpered. "Ayumaku, stop. Please." Ginny pleaded with him.

(oh my gosh. now there's a wolf that can magically talk...might be a bit confusing. Ginny will explain)

Mono paused, confused. The glow of his jewels died down as he realized the wolf was a friend of Ginny's. He instantly felt regret for injuring the wolf, but that feeling went away as he winced at a shoulder wound the wolf had given him.
"What's...going on?" he asked, giving her a puzzled look.

Inferno backed off with a growl still rumbling quietly in his throat. His glowing jewels faded a bit but not totally.

Saphira blinked before using her tail to cool the burns on the wolfs back with jets of water

Ginger looked at Mono and winced at the sight of his shoulder. "I'm sorry." she paused. "When I was four, my parents and I lived in a huge forest by ourselves in this cave. One night while my father was hunting and it was just me and my mother, a wolf pack came and tried to kill us. My dad came back and tried to protect us, but he ended up getting killed. A human came by, he was obviously a hunter, and saw what was going on. A wolf bit him, snd the DNA mixed with his. He protecyed me and swore to protect me."

Mono shrugged. "It's not a bad wound," he said. Monotone gave the wolf a guilty look as Saphira cooled the wolf's burns and he listened to Ginny's story. When she finished, he was silently deep in thought.

Saphira smiled exiting the water and snaking her pelt though she contued to shot water out of her tail onto the wolf

"But why did he attack you?" Inferno asked "You could have died." He growled.
