runningriver padded to the fresh kill pile grabbing a vole she ate it quickly then groomed her fur . she padded over to some rocks were the sun hit she laid down letting the sun warm her bones.

Darkshadow saw Runningriver and padded up to her, curling up in her soft fur.

running river licked his nose wrapping her long body around him like a queen would do to her kit. 'hey darkshadow ' she said cheerfully
