How do you name your characters?

How do you forge relationships with your characters and other characters (that belong to different people)?
Design and personality are the main factors. c: If they're a good friend of mine, then I'll gladly roleplay with them. I haven't started roleplaying with Dusk or Pix yet, but I've roleplayed with Aysan, Sanara, Winter, and Ocean in the past, all good friends of mine and exceptional roleplay partners. I like to make sure the designs fit together for possible breeding purposes, but in order for them to make a good couple their personalities have to click.

Same as with Pix. We talked but nothing happened. xDD

How do you name your characters?
Either I have had one in mind for a while, I just think one up, I use Google translate, or I use a site to look up names with certain meanings x3

I also got 3 new characters :3

With Aloysious, I put two names together to make it up. With all of the others I got them off sites [unless already named]. XD

How do you name your characters?
I usually do one of three things. 1) I get on one of my favorite name websites and look up names with meanings applying to the character and their looks or their personality. 2) I think of a name myself, real or fake, usually with no meaning. But if the character speaks to me, I simply have to use the name it tells me. ;u; 3) I ask friends for suggestions, etc.

How do you name your characters?
Depends. Sometimes a name comes to me after looking at the design long enough (It can be real or made up). Other times I try to translate an English word (a noun, usually) into some other language and see if I like what comes up. Or sometimes I have several names floating around in my head, just waiting to be applied to characters.
