Patterns/Designs you like; multi-colored stripes (like a tiger or brindle effect), especially with lots of different colored stripes overlapping so it looks complex. I sometimes also like it blended somewhat, so the color changes are gradual.
Patterns/Designs you don't like; plain, large areas of just one same color, spirals, or lots of little dots.
