FeatherKit smiled. " thanks." She said to FrostKit. FeatherKit looked at MossKit and smiled. " ok!" she said. " This is fun!" she added. NightKit shrugged. " I may not be as good as you but one day i'll show you all!" He said.

IcePaw hissed and curled up in a tight ball. She closed her eyes. 'Every one hates me. Maybe I should leave.....' She thought. She soon fell asleep.

Darkpaw kept waking up his shoulder was bugging him. He finally gave up on the idea of sleep and stiffly pulled himself to his paws. He walked out of the den and into the forest the dark of the night hiding him because of his black fur. He shivered realizing how cold it was. It was still early spring and it got very cold at night.

Mosskit crouched and moved his shoulders. "You sure you can handle this?" He meowed his voice cocky and challenging.

Jaggedkit just inspected his tail. "If your lucky Darkpaw will mentor you. He might be a warrior by then. I want to train with him though."

NightKit shook his head. " I don't want DarkPaw as my mentor, no. I want IcePaw." he said. " She's just as tough as DarkPaw." he added. FeatherKit shook. Her fur becoming fluffy. " Yes!" she said confidently.

IcePaw twitched in her sleep.

"Nobody's as good as Darkpaw." Jaggedkit said looking up at him intensly. "Someday he's going to be leader!" His eyes got an excited look to them.

Frostkit rolled her eyes. "Oh no." Mosskit waggled his haunches and then pounced.

Darkpaw stared into the forest. He wondered what Jaggedkit was doing and if Windtalon was okay. He hoped so. Windtalon had been a great mentor.

NightKit lashed his tail. " IcePaw is too! She's going to be better than DarkPaw! You'll see!" he said slightly angry. FeatherKit jumped out of the way, swiveled around, and she launched her self at MossKit's tail.

( I'm thinking that FeatherKit is going to choose to be a medicine cat after doing apprentice training. She'll change her mind. So that instead of being a warrior she'll be a medicine cat ^^)

Jaggedkit narrowed his eyes. "No. Darkpaw is the going to be the best warrior that ever existed." Jaggedkit's yellow eyes hardened. Darkpaw was his hero. Most of the clan thought he was mean. But he was just stronger than everyone else. He didn't need other cats to tell him he was amazing. That was why Jaggedkit followed him around camp so much.

Mosskit jerked his tail away from her and then headbutted Featherkit in the shoulder making her fall and roll.

Darkpaw relized the sun slowly rising. His stomach growled and he headed into the forest to catch some prey.

FeatherKit yowled ad MossKit's head hit her shoulder. NightKit stood up and walked off his tail slightly puffed out. " IcePaw maybe half clan and DarkPaw just a clan cat but who says the half-clan cats can overcome a clan cat. And Just because you think he's so great doesn't mean that IcePaw isn't." he hissed. NightKit heard FeatherKit and he ran over helping his sister up. " you ok?" he asked. " I'm fine." she said smiling. " I'm gonna get you Mosskit!" she yowled. FeatherKit ran after MossKit. NightPaw walked up to SoulFire's nest and hopped into it he layed down and sighed. Looking depressed.

IcePaw stood up she shook her fur out and she walked over to SoulFire. She prodded her friend in the stomach with her paw. SoulFire woke up. " What?" she asked drowsily. " sorry for all the fighting I caused." she said dipping her head. SoulFire sat up and yawned. " it's fine." she said smiling.

Jaggedkit turned and began sharpening his claws. Icepaw wasn't bad and he didn't even care if she was half clan. But no one could beat Darkpaw.

Mosskit turned and ran around the nursery. Frostkit laughed and ran after him too.

Darkpaw threw in a mouse and a skinny shrew. "Eat up." He called following his prey in. He had eaten a robin already.

FeatherKit ran chasing MossKit. She noticed NightKit laying in the nest alone. She walked over. " You ok?" she asked. NightKit looked up. " yea." he said. FeatherKit smiled. " If your ok why don't you play with us?" she asked. " sure" NightKit said. They both ran after MossKit and FrostKit.

IcePaw smiled. " thanks." she said picking up the skinny shrew. And eating it. She wasn't that hungry. SoulFire started eating the mouse. But she could only finish half. " IcePaw, want the rest?" she asked. IcePaw finished her Shrew and nodded. " sure" she said eating the rest of SoulFire's mouse.

Darkpaw sat watching them. His shoulder was still bugging him but not as bad as before. He was pretty proud he had caught the prey even though he was injured... Except that his robin was already dead. And the shrew probably would have croaked soon anyways. The only thing that had taken any skill to catch was the mouse... And to be honest it was a sloppy catch. But who cares they had food didn't they.
