Storm howled with him, sending his summons through the territories to any wolf who could hear.

Bronte hesitated but then began to howl with them. it was loud and strong.

Cody perked her ears at the howl. he stopped and sent out a short one.

Dusk's deeper howl surged through the territory, adding his voice with Storm's. They called the wolves of their packs, and as he howled, he looked over at Bronte in curious, slightly wondering how she came to be in Storm's pack.

It sounded great. For the first time, Storm felt like joining the packs had been the right thing to do. He heard Bronte's howl, easily defined for its female pitch. He glanced at her in between his howl, but made sure she didn't see.

Bronte stopped and disappeared through the undergrowth.

Storm cocked his head at her disappearance but didn't stop. Finally he let his clear howl fade away, its echo resounding through the forest.

Bronte padded into camp and looked around.

Hailstorm waited for the packs to come, and wondered what Bronte was up to.

Mekah was quite, but uneasy. She remained still, eyes deep and wondering.
