I honestly don't like this litter.

To me, the resemble the the swirly parent more. Sure there's the brown of the other, but, they have the same pattern as the swirly. Sure the peacock is more bland, but it does have more colors thank just brown. I'd have loved to see the other colors in these. Grey, white, brown, and the green. IDK where that green came from.

IDK, aside from the reverse peacock, I don't see /both/ parents any of the other dogs. They just look like different colored swirly dogs. Oh, some are brown, but they don't resemble any other way as the peacock dog to me. The could have had the face mask of the peacock, or, even just have been *more* colorful and they would be better IMO. I was really hoping they would have all the colors of the peacock dog. The blues and darker greens. I'm disappointed.

That's actually rather rude to the artist. I, for one, love the second gens. An actual person designed these, and the rules specify specifically not to bash the pets.
They werent rude, they just stated their opinion. They weren't like " OMG I HATTE THEM!!!" and then dont give a reason...
I somewhat agree. My favorite is the PPS, but they do remind me of the swirly a lot more, but i see a liiittle bit of the peacock, but very little. Only the eye markings... I mean They aren't my favorite, but I by no means hate them, in fact I do find the little "black sheep" pps adorable!

I disagree with the statement that someone has to make a suggestion when they explain why they don't like something. Not everyone is an artist or know enough about art personally to think of a way to make something better (even artists have have trouble thinking of a way to fix something). As long as it's polite and thought out, I don't see an issue with it. Yes, it's frustrating when people talk about what they don't like about it without any insight on how to change it, but it's all based off opinion. I can explain in detail using art terms and everything why I don't like a certain design, and would not make a difference. If there is nothing wrong with it technically and it's just a personal dislike of design, there is nothing that can be done. But this thread does not allow people to state negative opinions without ideas on "fixing" something that probably doesn't need fixing. This is why I never say anything much more than "not my thing" if anything at all.
If you see me on here too much, feel free to PM me and demand I get back to work! Thank you!

Personally I think everyone is entitled to their own opinions.
Secondly, the old adage applies, "If you can't say anything nice (about something), don't say anything at all." It's simply good manners, not that we're being bound and gagged. It's just to be polite.
Thirdly, I believe in freedom of speech. But as we know freedom is always within a set of rules. (You are allowed to believe in what you believe, but why do you think we're not encouraged to discuss religion everywhere we go? Some people are not mature enough to handle talks like this, and it applies anywhere we go.)
Fourthly, I believe it's useless to say that you dislike an outcome and say what you wish was done differently. I support constructive criticism, and it has helped me improve as an artist. But personally I believe it's useless simply because the outcome has been done, released, and adopted, expressing our disappointment over how it looks will not change anything about it.

this. So much. Especially in regard to second gen / third gen / etc pets since it's not as if those exact same pets will be bred
again in the future... It's unlikely, anyway xD

Was your pet adopted December 18, any year, or December 24, 2011? It is most likely an older pet! CLICK ME to identify your pet!

Okay can anyone tell me what is the big deal about this store bunny?
Everyone and their mum wants only this, and it greatly annoys me that I have always to break up my store purchased sets because everyone only wants this single bunny and ignores the other and leaves me with the incomplete sets that no one is interested in. (Complete store pet sets just fetch more in the long run.)
I am just wondering what is so special about that darned bunny that everyone else ignores the other store pets.

When I had some sets for traded I noticed that too...I'm not sure why people want only that one...It's probably because it's fewer pets to trade for one of them versus all three and that's just everyone's favorite?

I guessed that this storepet is everybodies darling, but I really don't get why. Cause it looks like a deer with the dots? <_> The brown one is really nearly the same, sans the dots and horns but I never really understood the great masses and their appeals. /shrug
