Howler snickered and ran into the woods.

Dusk turned and looked at Cody, looking as if his eyebrows were raised. "You coming?" He asked in a whisper, knowing the herd was near by.

Mekah layed on her back, looking around at the sky, deciding what to do.

Cody nodded and padded next to his leader. When they were closer he crept down and moved to where the wind wouldnt carry their scent.

Dusk flattened his body down to the ground, ears forward and tail flicking side to side as he slowly started to stalk forwards. Dusk's keen eyes and nose picked out the weakest doe of the herd, an older gal at the edge of the field. "Perfect." He whispered to himself, then turned towards Cody and motioned towards the doe with a small jerk of his greyish head.

Hailstorm paused hesitantly and looked back at Bronte. He just looked at her for a moment before looking up into the dark sky. "Am I doing anything right?" he asked. It was only half directed to Bronte.

Bronte laughed, " of course you are, you have a wonderful pack whose healthy and strong. Fierce warriors and brave hunters." She said. " Why Storm?"

Cody nodded his head and and went around the side of the doe to block her off from the buck and the rest of the deer. He crept forward toward the girl and barked. The herd ran in the split second but the doe was weak and wasnt as fast. Plus Cody blocked her off. snapping at her feet.

Dusk shot forwards, running up towards the doe and Cody. Dusk lunged for her side, driving her away from the herd before going around her again, taking a slash at her hindquarters. The doe faltered for a moment before she tried to rear up. Dusk snarled, ears against his head as he snapped at the lithe front legs of the deer.
