Damien walked into the coffee shop, pausing briefly to scan the faces before he spotted his sister and strolled over to her. Ronnie cast a dark glare his way and Damien chuckled, reaching out and snagging her coffee. He downed half of it before she could get out a single word. "Damien, you brute! Get your own." She reached for the cup but he pulled it out of her reach. She was getting increasingly angry, and people were beginning to give them curious looks. "Apprendre à obtenir une vie, imbécile! Vous ne pouvez pas trouver quelqu'un d'autre pour irriter? Donnez-moi mon café!" She growled, switching easily into French.
"Laissez-moi réfléchir ... et que dire de plus?" Damien scoffed.
Ronnie smirked suddenly, her hand flashing out like lightning, hitting the bottom of the cup and causing the coffee to fly all over her brother. She rose, making it almost comical that she'd come out on top due to their obvious height difference, and gathered her stuff before stalking out the door.
(Ronnie's Translations: "Learn to get a life, you jerk! Can't you find someone else to irritate? Give me my coffee!")

Victoria swung her legs over the cliff, swinging them back and forth boredly. She looked down at the city, wondering why people liked the coffee shop so much. It was just a random coffee shop. Why did people like it better? She sighed and drew in the dirt, humming to herself.

"Wha-?" Bree looked up with a start, almost spilling her coffee. "Oh, ya." She said, laughing softly. She smiled, "I'm Bree. Pleasure to be meeting you also." She said, regaining her composer and taking a sip of her coffee. "So what brings you here?" She asked, motioning for him to take a seat if he pleased. She took a deep breath of summer air, enjoying one of the last days. She absently looked up through the leaves at the blue sky, while waiting for his answer.

Dawn Marie Chosell

Dawn opened her eyes to the light blue sky. At first she was confused, but memory soon came back and reminded her that she had decided to sleep under the stars last night. She stood up and brushed the dirt off her back before going back inside, showering, blow-drying her hair, and putting on a new outfit.
Dawn walked down to the local coffee shop, as she did most mornings. The shop was only a few blocks away from her house, and usually there were kids from her high school there to talk to. She walked into the shop, triggering the chime on the door. After going up to the counter and ordering a cappuccino, she looked for somewhere to sit while she waited for her drink. There were a few open tables, but Dawn bypassed those and slid into a booth with a boy (Xander) who looked like he could use some company. "Hi!" She said brightly, a smile on her face.

Megan smiled and Showdown snorted, bored again. I wonder where the heck Xander is..?!! she thought, eying Rose's mare. "Well I have to get taking care of the horses..." She trailed off, staring at the ground. "Nice meeting yo-" She was cut off by a loud meow as a grey fluffy kitten came tumbling down the nearest hill. Meg hid a smile as the kitten came to a skidding halt at he feet, rubbing up against her leg. She knelt down and stroked the cats soft fur and Showdown glared at the cat with jealous eyes. "This is my cat, Stormbrow," Megan smiled up at Rose.

Xander looked up abruptly as a girl walked in and ordered. He saw her scan the tables for a place to sit and saw her eyes rest on him and walk over. She sat down and smiled at him and his shyness took over. "Hi," He mumbled, staring at his coffee, trying not to stare at her. She had soft blonde hair abut he didn't get a good look at what her eye color was.

Dawn flashed the boy a little reassuring smile. "It's okay, I don't bite." She said, the slight grin remaining on her face. All she could see of the boy was the top of his head, his dark hair sticking up. She couldn't get a glimpse of his eye color, his head had lowered too quickly.
"I'm Dawn." She added, more curious as to the boy's name than wanting to get her own name into the mix. Names, like eyes, can tell you a lot about someone. Especially nicknames, the way you alter what your parents give you. Dawn was a tough one for nicknames, but Dawn loved her name enough to not change it.

Xander blushed and looked up. He met Dawn's grey blue eyes for a brief second then glanced out the window. "I'm Alexander, but please don't call me that!" He said, a little braver. "Call my Xander," the corner of his lips tugging into a small smile. His phone vibrated and he glanced down at it. It read New Message from Megan! so he ignored it.

The corner's of Dawn's lips lifted just a little more when Xander's eyes met hers. He had deep brown eyes, the kind of eyes you could stare into for a lifetime and still not understand all the tiny details that exist there. She felt her heart flutter just the tiniest bit, but ignored the feeling for the moment.
"Xander." Dawn said, just out of the need to feel the name on her tongue. "That's a good, strong name. Why don't you like Alexander?" His full name suggested that he was majestic, a defender. Dawn felt herself wanting to know if that was true to Xander's personality.
