Dianne woke everyone up, including her mother.
"Good mornin', mom, we have breakfast today." she whispered and tried to get her up.
"I know, it's your birthday." she said slowly, slightly smiling. She got up and sat down again.
Dianne looked over the little camp they had to check is everyone awake. Since they were, she decided to sharp her arrows a bit while they're preparing the food.
"What do we have today?" she asked as she took one of the knives.
"A deer." said her father without taking his view away from it. "I doubt it'll last for the whole day." He got up and looked around to check how many of them were there. Dianne often does that too since she never remembers how many of them are even eating together.
Soon it was ready. The flame of the fire was big and it warmed them. They all sat in a circle around it and started talking before they started eating.
