Akira's eyes glowed. Then a michivious glint came into them, and she leaned forward, nipped Night's ear, and raced off towards the prey-pile. "Betcha I'll get there first!" she called behind her. (gotta log off. Be back on tomorrow.)

Sontag glared at Echo. He shook his head. "What are you doing here?!" he growled at the the Beta.

Night raced ahead of her and shidded to a halt and jumped over the prey-pile.

"I scented that brute and came to investigate." Echo said. It was more-or-less the truth.

Everest still had her ears flat.

Sontag went back into the clearing. "We should get back to camp..." he told Everest.

Everest nodded. She had already begun to make plans to leave. She didn't want to endanger the pack, and definitely not Sontag. She would leave tonight, which would be impossibly hard because of the way she felt about Sontag.

Everest squeezed through, snagging a little here and there, but she was fine. Her emotions were eating her alive though, as she felt extremely guilty about leaving tonight.
