We've discussed this before. :T Humans are selfish, and unless something interests us we won't reply to it. Yes, it's kind to say -something- when someone posted, but we aren't all going to. Besides, always hearing "wow cute character" gets mildly irritating. I think the big problem here is that people just post their characters or just answer questions, rather than trying to get involved. All of us are at fault here, so don't even attempt to say that you always reply (I know all of us here have ignored a post before, most likely multiple posts). If you want a change be the change. Make things happen. Ask questions, describe why you like the design instead of just "oh cute design".

Except some of us seem to only post characters and art. Which results in a few compliments, maybe a question about who made the art. Nothing more.

But when we say we're capable of talking about characters, while staying in the rules, wouldn't you trust us? How do you know we're not getting fed up about being told what not to do, when we're talking about character related things?

Honestly, I trust you guys a lot. That's why it really bothers me to see the rules broken so often.

Off-topicness isn't up to our jurisdiction. What the board admins deem as spam, is spam. And if we don't steer clear of those definitions, the thread is liable to be locked.

No, but if you can't reply to everyone not everyone can be replied to. It's as simple as that.
Of course some people will be ignored, but not constantly.

Okay, I agree with this post. And as one of the people who mainly posts new art here and sometimes interacts I gotta say Ellis has a good point about general participation among members and getting more involved yourselves.

There are a lot of people in this group. And I speak from experience when I say having 2+ posts in a row being ignored it hurts my feelings. When someone says, "wow! Cute character!" And that's the only reply I get, I LOVE it. I love any feedback I get. And I'm not naming any names, but there are some very popular people on this thread who get a lot more attention than others. And that hurts feelings as well..
