Isabelle could here the talk of more people in the main area of the ship above. She stood up on her tip-toes to peek at the commotion above, and could now see more people had gather. She sighed and slumped back down to the ground, not wanting to talk to anyone. Though she did want to meet more of these odd talking creatures. She hesitated before standing and climbing through the hole. "Que fais-je?" She asked herself in French. She stuck to the shadows as she observed the animals from a distance.

Angel was to her heels in no time. "You should go out and talk to someone!" She said, quite loudly. Isabelle glared at her, not wanting to draw attention. Angel smiled innocently, and you could almost imagine the halo floating above her head. "Go!" She whispered, quiet this time. Angel gave her charge a slight nudge, and thought Don't make me! I will get you to speak to someone, Isabelle! She smiled, giving Isabelle another nudge, harder this time.

Hard enough for Isabelle to stumble out of the shadows and bump into Vlad.

((If Isabelle were speaking French, her sentence wouldn't be "Que fais-je?" Instead it would be "Qu'est-ce je fais?" if she were talking about her current situation or "Qu'est-ce je vais faire?" if she were talking about what she's going to do. Just keep that in mind before posting random things ))

"No worries," Jack mumbled to Genevieve. Tired of holding his arms out in front of him, Jack gently placed Harmony into his shirt pocket. "Thank you," she told him, her eyes still closed but her voice full of gratitude. Jack just smiled at the rat as he flexed his fingers and picked up the pace. The voices up ahead got louder, and Jack found a bunch of people and gaurdians in front of him. Another guy! he thought as he saw Damien, And another girl too... Jack was soon standing in front of Roshon, Damien, Pepper, and Felzir. "Hey!" he said awkwardly, looking from Roshon to Damien.

"Oh my, hello there, Harmony!" Pepper shouted to the rat, waving his tiny paw vigorously. "How is your human, oh! Your's is male too!" Damien looked over at Jack with surprised eyes. He quickly fixed his expression into its usual monotone state. "Hi." he greeted the stranger, barely audible. This guy looked like the exact opposite of him, a jock, a pretty boy, everything he wasn't. Probably a social butterfly too. He kicked at a rock awkwardly, hoping Roshon would pick up the conversation instead of him.

((Sorry I havn't been able to post in awhile, I'm currently in the depths of writing the next chapter for my story, I should hopefully be able to finish it today and then I can send it off to the editors. Then I can come RP. :3 ))

Alice and Genevieve had managed to keep up with Jack. The fox pricked her eyes and came to a halt, turning her head up to see two more humans. She knelt down in a sort of curtsy and stood back up. She nudged her shoulder against Alice's leg, and encouraging smile upon her face. She cocked her head to the strangers. Genevieve turned her attention to the two other Guardians with them. Were they both lizards? No, one was the gecko she had seen earlier that day...but what was the other, she wondered. Genevieve took a step closer and showed them a warm smile.
"Hello," she said the the Guardians. "I'm sorry, I'm not good with names but I believe you're name is Pepper, correct?" she asked the gecko. She had apologized to the other Guardian for not having seen another quiet like him before. He was a dragon, she now saw, with a red base and was scaled with metal, his wings were oddly shaped in her view. "I'm sorry. You're the first dragon I've met," she added.
Alice's hand went to her neck, stroking it. "Hi...," she started, sounding more like a question. "You guys got talking animals too?"

Vlad staggered forward, Silas still in his grasp. As he started to fall forward, he had accidentally let go of Silas, causing the serval to fall from his arms. Vlad called out his name, worried that he'd get hurt. To his surprised he noticed the serval hovering just a inch above the ground for a split second before planting all four paws to the tattered deck boards. Vlad didn't have time to wonder or ask questions because he instinctively spun around, having to balance himself to stay on his feet, and look at the face of whomever pushed him. "Hey, hey watch it will 'ya?" he said before fully taking in who the stranger was. It was seconds later that he noticed it was a girl, probably in high school.
"Oh, hey sorry." He noticed a small wild cat animal, almost like Silas but probably in its adultery years or teens. He tilted his head slightly. "That's not another serval-whatevers is it?" he ask, not really directing it to anyone. Silas pounced in front of it, having to jerk his head up to see the animal's face.
"No, silly mister Vlad! 'Tis not one of my people. It has spots. I had dots!"
Confused, Vlad turned to the girl and the kangaroo and back to the girl and the wild cat.

Pepper's eyes widened as he noticed another human and her guardian approach them. He squinted at the fox and thought for a moment, "Genevieve! You have found your human! A female." he grinned warmly. "We have almost found all of the pairs." he assured Damien, who didn't seem to be paying attention. Damien's heart pounded in his chest, so many people... He was awkward and mostly anti-social, well, at least in his dimension. Maybe he could change in this one. Attempting to work up the courage, he chuckled softly and said, "Yeah... um... hello." was all he could manage. Stupid! Who even says 'hello' anymore?! he screamed at himself in his head. He wore an awkward half-smile. He guessed that Jack would be better at greeting Alice.

Pepper noticed Angel bound off, "Good luck, Angel!" he called, then turned back to Felzir. "Do you know where the others are?" he questioned. "I have not seen Caioni or Harmony or... the others..." he finished.

Roshon turned towards the newcomers and nodded briefly, not interested in talking at the moment. Her eyes still traced the forms of the trees in her head, absent-mindedly studying them. The small group of guardians were still chattering over a few meters and she let their sensless words go to the background, filling in with the forest sounds of birds and wind.

"I think Caioni is still on the ship," Felzir answered. "He was talking with some others when I went to go find you....Some of the others might still be in their rooms. Oh, greetings, Harmony and Genevieve." He chuckled at the fox's comment, making his scales flash in the little sun that reached the forest floor. "There are not many of us on the island," he told her. "Dragon guardians tend to meet...unfortunate ends," the ruby beast coughed slightly, looking slightly miffed.

Roshon nodded in response to the new girl's question. "I think we all do," she finally said, thinking about the others. She gave a quick glance to the boy Pepper kept calling Damien through the corner of her eyes. He seemed rather flustered and uncomfortable amongst so many people. One's company, four's a crowd....

Genevieve watched the gecko, Pepper, for a while. "Well, I wouldn't call her my human. She's completely her own person." She rolled her eyes at Alice. How is it everyone knows my name?! she couldn't help but wonder. Suddenly she felt a nudge by her leg, looking up at Alice.
"What's so funny?" Alice asked the fox.
Genevieve help a confused look on her face. "What do you mean?"
"You were laughing."
"Was I?"
Alice nodded once, smirking at her before sliding out her right hand from her pocket and letting it fall limp beside her. "Hey, I'm guessing you were on the cruise?" The boy looked around her age, more or less, and seemed just as nervous and awkward as she. She cocked her head to Jack. "You two know each other? Because I'm still confused about all this," she admitted, her cheeks glowing scarlet. Genevieve seemed to notice this change and rubbed against the calf of her leg for comfort and encouragement, kneading around her legs before stopping right underneath her between her two legs. Genevieve crossed her front paws, one over the other, and slowly started to lower her chin to her paws saying, "Keep calm Alice dear, I'm here..." and closed her eyes. She had her ears pricked up, listening.

Genevieve jerked her head up and turned to the dragon. She tried to recall what he had said before replying, "I'm...sorry. I hadn't known...." Genevieve didn't know how to feel about that. She sat up, stretched a little, and got on all four paws, stepping out from under Alice. She watched the dragon. "Somehow, it appears others know of my name but I would be left clueless to wonder what is theirs," she spoke softly but enough to make herself heard.
Alice's voice caused Genevieve to spin around and face her charge. "Maybe you're just famous like that," joked the girl. Genevieve chuckled. "I doubt it."

[Nyhne]

He offered her a rueful smile and dipped his head ever so slightly, making the light from the sun hit his scales differently and cast red patterns across the plush forest floor. "Most do not know about the dragon guardians, so you have nothing to apologize for," he told her. Interested in the fox's whispered words, Felzir stretched his neck a little towards the other guardian, cocking his head a little in confusion. "You are a fairly reconizable figure on the island, Genevieve. I am not surprised that many others know your name. His voice sounded like fire when he whispered, low, but full of life.

Roshon shifted her line of sight to the dragon guardian, a small smile tugging at the edges of her lips. "I thought you didn't like the others, Felzir," she teased, keeping her voice down to a humored whisper.

The dragon growled in irritation but chose not to reply to her.

Genevieve blushed, ducking her muzzle. She found herself smiling. She lifted her head, her radiant smile still showing on her. "Felzir is it? Thank you, I just find it odd that I don't know many of the others is all." She didn't expect to be known at all around the island, aside from her old friends who are on the other side with their charges. Most likely she'd never see them again. It didn't bother her though. She'd learn to make new friends. She had already started to make three, four counting Alice.

A thought suddenly entered Alice's mind. She had started to wonder about the family and friends she had on Earth. What would happen to them? What did they know about Alice's whereabouts? She looked around for Genevieve before remembering.... Alice turned her eyes towards the floor, now seeing the fox. She cleared her throat, slipping her other hand out from her pocket and stroked her hair back.
"Genevieve? You do know you guys can't keep us here forever." She wasn't only talking to her own Guardian now, but also directing it to all four of them. "We have families, lives to live, friends who still need us around. What will they think? That we've died? Or call us victims of the Triangle?" Thinking of her mother and brother, Alice shot a glance at Genevieve. "You can't keep us here!" she shouted, quickly cuffing her mouth with her hands and backing away.
Finally she released her mouth, embarrassed. "Sorry, that was uncalled for. But I'm not kidding. You can't just take way our lives and force us to start over...can you?"

Genevieve only watched Alice, he pain in her eyes. It was so sudden, totally uncalled for to bring that matter up. She must have been thinking about it for a while, perhaps. She turned to her paws, not wanting to look at Alice, to ashamed. Why had it had to be her charge who asked the difficult questions? Maybe she was bipolar or something... Genevieve thought, stopping herself when she saw how rude it was to think that.
"Alice," she said, still not looking up from her paws. "I'm sorry Alice, but it's not our choice...."
For the most, Genevieve was embarrassed, slightly ashamed of herself for not having answers or being able to cause Alice any happiness. But part of her was also proud that Alice was starting to learn she could speak out like that.
