Ivyfoot
Ivyfoot had been awake for what seemed like hours before she stood up in her secluded nest within the medicine den and stretched, purring as she felt her previously dormant muscles waking. She took a deep breathe, the bittersweet scent of the herbs tickling her nose as she did so. Everything was in perfect order, just the way she liked it, and because all of her supplies seemed well stocked, she felt like there was nothing for her to do. She sat in front of her stockpiles, counting and recounting all of the herbs that she had. I might still go out and see what's available, she thought. There's no harm in being prepared. She hated sitting idly in her den waiting for something to do. She was itching for some sort of assignment or job, anything to get her up and moving. She was very fidgety in that way. With a quiet sigh, she left her den, pushing past the hanging greenery that shrouded the entrance to her den.
It seemed that much of the clan was already up and moving. She saw Darkeye and Sunstorm speaking with Willowstar, and Emberpaw seemed to be waiting anxiously for something to do. She purred with amusement. Most of the apprentices seemed to be incredibly anxious to impress the older warriors, a quality that she felt was very valuable for apprentices to have. She glanced around the clearing before padding towards the exit of the camp. "Good morning, Willowstar," she said with a respectful nod to her leader as she passed.
Sandstripe
Sandstripe's eyes snapped open for no apparent reason, and he was filled with an electric sort of energy. He arched his back in a quick stretch, noticing that a few of the warriors had already left the den. Glancing out of the den, he saw his sister's bright crimson pelt making its way across the clearing, probably to head out and collect herbs. He noticed that Foxtail, one of the youngest warriors of the clan, was still sleeping in his corner of the den. "Wake up Foxtail," he said, shoving the large ginger tom with a paw. "The sun's up. You should be too."
The other clan members were gathered around Willowstar, Darkeye, Sunstorm, and Emberpaw also in attendance. As he walked past Ivyfoot, he allowed his pelt to brush against hers. "Morning sis," he muttered. "Off collecting herbs early today, I see." She glanced over her shoulder at him wordlessly, pale green eyes shining affectionately. As they walked their different directions, Sandstripe took a seat on the outer edge of the group, listening to the conversation that was being held.
Foxtail
Foxtail grumbled with agitation as Sandstripe nudged him awake. The older warrior was always making things difficult for him. Would the clan starve if I slept in every once in a while? he thought as he stood up. He gave his long orange pelt a few quick licks to force the unruly patches to lie flat and then headed out of the den behind Sandstripe. He made a slight "Hmph" as he saw Sandstripe exchange a quick morning greeting with his Ivyfoot.
Lying down in the fog, he wasn't exactly hidden due to the bright hue of his coat. The chill of the mist didn't affect him too much as it did some of the other cats. He flicked his tail a few times, not really sure what to do, but not really wanting to step into the circle of the senior warriors either. While he was incredibly confident in his place in the clan, the one ccat that he didn't want to get on the bad side of was Wilowstar. He wasn't exactly sure why, but the clan leader intimidated him. He heard a noise to his right, and turned his head to see the wraithlike figure of Viperpaw slinking around the outskirts of the camp.
Viperpaw
Viperpaw crept back into camp, hoping that no one had noticed that she'd been gone for quite a while before sunrise. She saw Foxtail sitting alone in the mist, observing her quietly, but she was hoping that he'd only assume she was just waking up. Her early morning escapade in the forest was not very productive to clan life, but she felt like it was very productive to her own development as a warrior. It almost seemed like she learned more walking around in woods alone than she did training with the other apprentices.
She saw Emberpaw sitting with some of the other cats, including Willowstar and Darkeye. She wondered if the dark grey apprentice had noticed that she had disappeared for a good portion of the night. I sure hope not. That wouldn't be good, she thought. Mousedung, what if Emberpaw told Willowstar I was gone? She'll have my pelt for sure. However, instead of panicking, Viperpaw feigned fatigue, as if she had just crawled out of her dark corner of the apprentices' den.
