Echo came back to camp, dragging a deer behind her. She pulled it over to the prey-pile and looked around.

Everest nodded, still a bit worried.

"I don't think they'd waste a whole moon just to kill two packs kilometers away that post no threat." Sontag replied

Everest flicked her tail. "I didn't think about that." She lied. She knew her father, and he was most likely hunting her down.

Sontag stopped pacing and stared right into Everst's eyes. "You wouldn't lie to me would you?"

Everest glanced at him. "No..." She said. "But, I know my father, and doesn't like when wolves leave his pack... The last wolf to leave was killed." She muttered, telling him the truth.

Echo looks around the camp. Where was everyone?
