Fire soon found a cave. She was careless and didn't smell for any predators. As she laid down the little filly didn't know that a cougar stalked her in the darks of the cave.

Knight lifted his head and sniffed the air, hoping to smell some kind of hallow tree, but wait. Whats that smell? A foal and a cougar. Fire! he thought and set off running towards the place where he last saw her

Fire's eyes got weak then she heard a rough, coughing roar. She flinched and looked behind her. A pair of yellow eyes where in the back of the cave. It was so quiet you could hear a twig snap. Then the cougar jumped out at her. Fire screamed and tried to run but the cat got her tail. She bucked trying to get it off as it reached for her small sides.
