Echo left the camp and headed for the forest. Now that Jay was busy with the pups, she could go hunting. She left camp and inhaled, smelling all the varied scents of the forest. With a grin, she sped off, following the smell of deer.

"I know what you were about to say." Sontag said.

Everest flushed, looking down. "Oh.." She said in a tiny voice, feeling quite guilty.

Alster looked back at his sisters as they emerged from the nursery. "Hear that? we get to play with him all day!"
Bird and Anna exchanged mischievous glances.

"I have a better idea " he said lowering himself once more " if you promise not to tell the adults first though " he said at little more than a whisper .

Bird looked at her brother. "What are we gonna do?"
Alster sat down and Anna sat down beside whim followed by Bird. "We'll listen to what the log has to say. Then we'll choose what to do." Alster told his sisters.

Shard: Shard laughed slightly, shaking his head. "I'm only head fighter, you don't have to show me any respect."

Echo: Echo nodded at Sontag, then turned to Jay. "I'm sorry, but you do have to stay here." She says quietly to Jay.
