August cooly watched Demon trot away, she swore to herself that she'd keep a closer eye on the other members of the pack, to be sure that nothing like this would happen again. Is Death tainting even those in our pack? she wondered. Shaking her head, August let her gaurd down and sprinting past the wolves that had been with Demon, getting closer to Niko and Haru.

Toko growled under his breath, his serious eyes following Demon as he left. "Are you going to let him get away?" he said under his breath to Ayet. "Is this Death's work? We don't want fighting between ourselves Ayet, even you realize that..." The Beta's eyes fell from Demon and met Ayet's, a glimpse of worry showing in them.

Timid Dart watched, cocking her head. This was not supossed to happen within the pack. She shook her head sadly and rose. It was a pain to just watch, but she knew exactly how much of a help she would be. None. Timid Dart only fought as a last resort, and even then, she was almost too scared to do anything. Sighing, the gray wolf shook out her pelt, silent in confusion. She was tempted to go see what was going on, but decided that it would be best just to stay where she was and wait.

Ayet forced himself to relax, and snorted as the black male trotted off, head held high. "Proud of himself, is he?" Ayet said under his breath, and glanced over to his beta. "For now; yes. He will get away with it. But sooner or later, he will slip. And I will be there. But for now, I have enough to worry about." Ayet's eyes narrowed, and he added, "No one can know what Death is planning, or how involved he is with this world. He was silent for a few moments, and then cheefully added, rather briskly; "Come, Toko. We have a pack to take care of. Look at them; it doesn't take a strategist to see that they are frightened. It's up to you and me to show them courage and strength. If we show any fear ourselves, the whole pack will crumble." With that, he bounded ahead of his pack, so that he stood next to Cloudburst as they made their way to the clearing. He held his head up high, and his tail was slightly raised; all senses alert as he kept on the lookout for any danger.

Personality: Khamari is a man of tricks. He's a deciever, good at fighting, but tends to confuse an attacker with his wierd moves. He tends to be easily excitable, and loves to be around others in some sort of group. He's extremely loyal and dispite being friendly most of the time can put up quite a fight, unfortunately, he also has a weak mind (not in a dumb way, more like he's too trusting) and isn't hard to control.
History:
Khamari came from some distant forest. A place where it seems death had a strong hold, natural selection picked off most of his family in the form of bizarre looking demons, particularly one he calls Owl Face that devoured his siblings. Khamari himself was never attacked, and while that luck held he left, in hopes that by seeking out the Sawtooth pack, hoping there might be something he could do to help.

Timid Dart looked at Ayet admiringly. She desired for such out spoken power, but was too scared to seek it. The silver wolf quietly approached, still deciding whether she should do it or not. Though she was a member of his pack, Dart still found the idea of speaking to him threatening. Finally, knowing it was too late, she dipped her head and greeted formally,"Hello, sir."She looked up at him, smiling slightly. Fear pulsed through her. It had always been this way. Honestly, she had to admit it was most likely just paranoia. But be it or be it not, she was just overly shy. Timid Dart waited for a response, still worried and fearful.

Haru kept close to Niko, he admired her calm and cool stature at the moment. His jaws were clamped tightly, but delicately around the few precious herbs he had found. He wasn't too close to her, however, in case this wolf was touchy too. All of the pack seemed to be tense and high strung. Is there an herb to calm wolves? Umm... Chamomile, I think, but it's rare, isn't it? Ugh, being a healer is a drag... he thought to himself.

Myst glared at Demon as he padded away. He choked down his growling and followed after the others. His ears were pinned flat against his head and his sharp eyes flicked around the forest, searching for any danger. He hoped they'd reach their destination soon. Maybe everyone was just cranky because they hadn't slept in a while. It was hard to tell night from day, ever since the sun had been taken from them.

((Also, Uoneko? On the front page, it says that Peng is a tracker. Peng is my nickname, Cassandra or Cass is my other charrie. :3))

Fern looked at Demon with disgust. "Cowards are the ones that attack the weak to feel stronger than they actually are or will ever be." she said walking by him. She approached Chee, "Are you alright? I could go get a healer if you want." Fern looked around and didn't see Haru anywhere. She looked back at Chee a little worried. "Well, Ayet is moving now so we better get going." she nudged Chee a little.

Cassandra viewed the commotion with silence. Demon is such a brat... She followed Ayet and kept alert. She used her keen senses and sniffed the wind. Thank goodness, nothing now- Wait a minute... Sniffing the air, Cass started to walk cautiously toward the scent. I smell...wolf? What on earth? And only one... a loner? I doubt one could survive a demon-infested forest alone... She trotted toward Ayet pricked with worry. "Ayet, I smell wolf, but only one. Don't you think that's a little strange?"

Toko grinned after Ayet, bounding after him towards the front of the pack. I wouldn't be who I am now if Ayet hadn't chosen me as beta... he thought to himself as he reached his friend. Timid Dart's quiet words shook him back into reality, and he smiled at her boldness to come talk to her leader. I won't forget that... Toko waited to see how Ayet would respond and looked forward, hoping they would reach the lake soon.

Personality: She is very brave and will attack anything. She is not afraid to argue, or get her paws dirty. She is kind of mean on the outside. But once you get to know her, she is very sweet and kind.
History:She was taken out of her old pack and sent to die because she was a silver color.She was raised by a cougar and She was trained harder than most wolf pups. She grew and became bigger than most females. Snowdrift became depressed when her Milk Mother, the cougar, died. She was heartbroken. Snowdrift was forced to live alone for many years until she came to Sawtooth pack. She was accepted in and now is a fighter.
Other: She has a large scar across her right eye from where another wolf attacked her.She is half blind in that eye.

Ayet looked back at the female, and a grin crossed his face. "Hello. You can call me Ayet, you know." He said, still walking for the clearing. They were just about there, when he heard Cassandra mention a wolf in the forest. He stopped, and sniffed. "Hmm... A lone wolf. I can barely smell him. Yes, I suppose that's a bit odd." He said, looking around now for the wolf.
