We Are Guardians[Semi Lit+ Roleplay] Full, sorry

Angel sighed and said to Pepper in a low voice "The weirdest thing is, is that when I explained what happened, she said 'Okay', and ran off..... I don't know her name... She won't really tell me... The only thing she has said is 'okay'...." she turned to look at Isabelle leaning against the wall, but her eyes only met a cruise ship wall. "Where'd she go!" she ran over to look around the corner of the corridor, but it was empty. She sniffed the air, trying to pick up her scent. She followed it all the way to the gaping whole in the side of the ship. "Oh no, she has gone into the forest, Pepper. I've got to go.... Who knows what would happen if I lost my charge." She jumped out of the hole into the grass below, and ran into the forest.

Isabelle knew that by now, Angel had probably noticed that she'd gone missing. She looked up through the leaves of the trees above into the sky. She breathed in the scent of the forest and smiled. She didn't necessarily want to get away from Angel, but she did want to get away from the boy. And she wanted to explore this place. "This place is much better than Earth." She said, speaking to herself. She usually only ever spoke to herself "This will be a great place to start my new life.... Europe would've been good, but this? This is paradise!" She started running, her hair flying out behind her. She spread out her arms and spun around, laughing. The sound of her laugh surprised her, because she hadn't heard it in so long.

Isabelle walked up to a tree, one of the ones with lower branches, and she took hold of the closest ones. She put her feet on the tree, climbing up it. She continued this process until she got high into it. Leaves were all around her, and she could now see more of the sky through the leaves above. She smiled at the sky, her eyes gleaming. She wasn't the outdoorsy kind of person, but so much of her was changing here. I mostly didn't like the outdoors because of how many people were out there.... And how sweaty you get in the sun... She turned back into her regular self as she could see Angel coming from down below and she sighed as the Margay looked up the tree with a frown on her maw. Isabelle's face turned blank again as Angel climbed up the tree and settled next to Isabelle.

"Its beautiful, isn't it..." Angel asked.

Isabelle didn't reply, she only stared up at the sky.

Cai pointed down yet another hallway, "Maybe they went that way." He muttered as Ariana turned yet again. "Izuzu! Are you down here?" He called loudly, flying ahead and looking around. When he landed back on Ariana's shoulder, he sighed. "I know he's got to be around here somewhere. Iz can panic pretty easily so it's not good that he's lost.

Ariana nodded, "Yeah, after listening to you, he sure seems like a bit of a nervous guardian. Are you sure he actually was assigned a companion?" She asked softly, not wanting to offend Cai, but curious about it nontheless.

"Of course he was assigned a companion. He's not worthless, besides, every companion is a learning experiance for each Guardian. Besides, his companion will learn a lot from him too. That's something I forgot to explain. Each guardian is matched with a companion that will fit them best. That way, both can play on their greatest strengths rather than make weaknesses worse."

Ariana nodded, "I understand, sorry that I mentioned it. I never knew that the job of guardians was so complex. I thought that each of you just picked a human at ramdom."

Cai laughed, "Of course not! It would cause too many problems, especially if every guardian wanted the same companion. Some humans would be left out."

Angel sighed, wondering if they got it wrong this time. Maybe I wasn't matched with the right companion this time... We aren't alike at all.... She looked at the bored face of Isabelle, and she said "Lets go, you shouldn't have run off." There was a stern look in her eyes.

Isabelle didn't budge, but she moved her eyes to look into Angel's. She finally spoke after a few minutes, saying "Isabelle." and with that, she climbed down, jumping out of the tree about 5 feet from the ground.

Angel winced as she heard the thump below, opening one eye to peer down below to see if the 17 year-old wasn't injured. She let out a sigh of relief as she could see the girl walking in the direction of the cruise ship. She rolled her eyes and glided down the tree, landing softly and running after Isabelle "Isabelle! That is your name? As you know, mine is Angel. You don't seem so social..."

"That must've taken you a while to figure out..." Isabelle said sarcastically, breaking from the trees and out into the area that the cruise ship was in. It was grassy, and the remains of the ship were directly in the center, as if this clearing was meant for the cruise ship. As if they expected them. Isabelle walked to the side of the ship, and leaned against it, sliding down to the ground in a sitting position, with her back against the ship. She closed her eyes, fiddling with her switchblade again.

He was one of the youngest Guardians to graduate from his training, Silas the serval pranced joyously into the remains of a wrecked cruise ship accident. He put his nose to the air and took in the scent of his surroundings. It smelled of water, salt and metal. He opened his mouth, his tongue out as he huffed out a breath before closing his mouth. "Ewwwww," he groaned, "the air taste gross...how can I find my human person if I can't breathe?" He stuck his head out of the wreckage one last time and inhaled a large amount of the air outside before ducking back in and starting deeper inside.
On what use to be the front deck was where he found his seemingly lifeless charge. Half scared, half curious, Silas lifted up a paw and quickly touched the body and yanked his paw back. It didn't move. He did it again, like a curious cat would, until he found himself smiling with glee. He knew he wasn't dead and decided to make the most fun he could to wake him up. Silas began to repeatedly drum his paws on the side of the male human's torso.
"Up up! Time to wake up!" he sang.
The man moaned, rolled his shoulders back. Silas stopped, frowned, and then bashed his paw to the back of the man as hard as he could manage. "UP!" he ordered, his lips pouting out. The man arched forward, his arms lifting up his body now. He sat up, blinked a couple times and looked straight on at Silas. Silas gave him time for his eyes to adjust before placing a foot on the man's knee and leaning his head towards the man's face. Silas cocked his head, a smile slowly formed on his face. "Mister? Are you up?"
"Yes I'm up an--Holy mother of--"
"Yay!" squealed the young serval, interrupting the man mid-sentence. He back off from the human and sat up with a smile. He frowned for a second. "Uh...first step, first step...introduction! Yes!" he muttered to himself.

Vladimir stared clueless at the animal as his lips moved, words coming out of them. He couldn't hear what it had whispered to itself but he really didn't care. Being able to hear what it said was worse enough. He put a hand to his neck, rubbing it and wondering why his body was aching so much. Vlad stretched. "Okay I'm gunn--"
"Uppuppup, 'tis Sila's turn to talk, please."
"I'd actually rather you didn't..." Vlad murmured, rolling his eyes.
"I-am-'Sigh-lus'," said the small cat thing, breaking his words apart. "You-are-not-dree-ming. No, you-are-not-dead either. You-are-in--"
"Yeah, yeah, yeah just get to the point, 'kay?" said the rather impatient Vlad.
Silas nodded his head quickly, giving himself a small headache which he got over pretty quick. "You went through a vortex thing in the border from your dimension to ours on Monday at...a time. Mhm," he nodded again, "and, and...oh! I'm Silas. I'm to be your special Guardian while you stay here. Welcome to Nysaria!"
Hearing this, Vlad was struck dumbfounded. He honestly didn't know what or how to reply with that. Trying to keep himself cool, calm, and collected, he swallowed and said, "You sure I'm not dreaming?"
Again, the cat thing nodded. "Mhm. Don't your people ever wonder what happen to the people who disappear on ships and planes and stuff?"
"Yeah, after they go through the Bermuda Triangle. That or ghost pirates kidnapped them. Saw that on Scooby-Doo once," Vlad replied, trying to keep calm by cracking a joke. It didn't help the mood. But if they really were in the Bermuda Triangle, or at least where the triangle takes people, then there was a possibility this was all real. The cat thing tilted its head to the side.
"Mister?"
By now Vlad was trying to grasp the fact this thing was actually talking to him. "Yes, little talking cat creature...?"
"No, I'm a serval, mister. A serval name Silas. What's your name mister?"
"My...name? Uh, Vladimir. But I go by Vlad--"
"Mister Vladdy!" The 'serval' started to jump about, circling Vlad now. Vlad took a sigh of breath, clearing his throat to ask a question.
He locked his eyes on the serval's. "I'm not convinced," he started, "take me to the other passengers that was on the ship with me. If I recognize someone, maybe I'll believe you. Deal?"
Excited that he was finally getting through to him, the serval nodded quick with excitement. "Oh yes of course! Anything to get mister Vlad to be my friend and stay here on Nysaria! Come, mister, come!" With that the cat turned his back on Vlad, headed for another part of the wrecked ship. Slightly confused but feeling he had no choice, Vlad got to his feet and started after him.

"Oh, my bad..." Harmony peeped, feeling a little embarrassed and half-hiding behind Jack's neck. "I'm Harmony, and I've seen you around before with some of the earlier humans..." she trailed off, looking around. "I think I hear a bunch of the others gathering around, we should wait to eat and go meet up with them..."

"Uhh yeah...I've seen you I think..." Jack replied to Alice, "I think a bunch of the people these gaurdians are talking about were from the cruise..." he put his hands in his pockets awkwardly. Harmony patted him on the neck, and used her tail to tell him which direction she thought the others were in. "Let's get going then..?" he half-asked, walking off towards the others.

Genevieve smiled up at Harmony. "What a beautiful name; Harmony," she complimented. Genevieve took a glance at Alice then to Harmony. "It's fine," she added, "It is probably best we meet up with some of the other guardians." She turned back to Alice.
"Alice?"
Alice nodded, then turned to Jack again. "Yeah, it's fine Genevieve."
Genevieve grinned, standing up right, a paw in the air reading to start walking on. "Then we'll go together, shall we?" she said to Harmony, already starting to slowly walk a bit.

Alice chuckled at Genevieve's anxiety to please others. She straitened her back when Jack started to talk to her suddenly. "Huh?" she said at first, almost inaudible. "Oh, yeah, okay then. Genevieve," she called. "Come here."
Genevieve stopped in her tracks and stood there until they had gotten to where she was before walking alongside Alice. She looked up.
"Yes Alice?" she asked.
The corner of Alice's lip twitched as she tried to talk. "Stay by me. I'm nervous about this, meeting a group of people and all." She didn't bother too look down at Genevieve who watched her with a worried expression, soon turning confident.
"Always," she answered, and the pair walked along with Jack and Harmony towards the other passengers.

Jack's heart pounded in his chest as they started to hear the voices of some of the others, and from what he could tell, girl voices. Aren't there any guys around here? he wondered. Harmony sensed his insecurities and flew in front of him, grabbing his hand in her paws and pulling it upwards. Jack watched in amazement as Harmony pushed his hands around before settling in them. As he held the rat in front of him, gently stroking her with his fingers, Jack began to calm a bit, and he started to accept the fact that he really was in this other dimension/Nyseria place. As the voices up ahead began to get louder, a thought occurred to Jack and he asked the gaurdians, "Have any humans died from the impact of ending up in here?" At this point, Harmony was half asleep, and she mumbled something incomprehensible. Jack awkwardly turned to Genevieve, "So?"

Damien watched with a monotone stare as the girl that had the margay guardian scampered off. He sighed audibly So dramatic. he thought, narrowing his eyes, That's what it's like here. Dramatic. he shook his head slightly. Pepper noticed Angel bound off, "Good luck, Angel!" he called, then turned back to Felzir. "Do you know where the others are?" he questioned. "I have not seen Caioni or Harmony or... the others..." he finished.

Not really paying attention, or thought that he would even have spoken to her, Genevieve ignored Jack at first. It was until Alice have her a little nudge that she noticed. The fox looked up at Alice, confused as to what it was she wanted. Alice repeated Jack's question to her and she apologized for her rudeness of ignoring him. She walked, looking up at Jack as she spoke.
"I don't believe so. If they managed to arrive here then they lived. Unless they had been killed during the crash, before being able to make it here." Genevieve looked down, blushed, and turned her attention back to Jack. "Apologies Jack, I'm no expert. Just my theory. Alice is my first charge." Her ears pricked, catching the soft, distance murmurs of others not far from where they were. She pointed her nose forward and sighed in relief that they were nearly there, hoping to socialize Alice a little more.

Alice had been walking, not really listening to Genevieve, and had jammed her fist in the pockets of her jacket, flinging her hood over her head with a forward jerk, then back up again. She was still cold from being in the water before she had arrived. Her clothes were slightly wet but it didn't bother her too much. She felt her T-shirt and jeans cling to her body. With a shiver she dug her fist deeper into the pockets and let a sigh slip through her lips. "Hope I don't catch a cold..." her murmured to herself.

Occasionally, Silas would turn around and see whether or not his charge was following him or how far behind he was. He smiled every time he saw that he was near, excited to finally have his assignment. He seemed to be enjoying himself, having fun with the fact that Vlad was still jumpy about the idea of animals with the ability of speech. He spun around, crouched his head low and spread his front legs apart, his behind in the air. With a cheerful yelp--causing Vlad to yell a little and jump back--he dashes towards him. He started to jump all around Vlad, begging him to pick up his pace. "Hurry mister Vlad! You're like a turtle! But I bet they can beat you in a race!" he'd say. The young serval did not seem annoyed with Vlad's cooperativeness. He was only glad that Vlad had such a high tolerance for his behavior because once and a while he'd catch a glimpse of a smirk or grin upon his face.
Suddenly, Silas stopped in his tracks, causing Vlad to nearly fall forward from halting so suddenly. He regained balanced and willing spoke to Silas for the first time in a casual manner.

"What is it buddy?" he asked, his voice soothing, like he was talking to a pet. Silas shook his head and pricked his overgrown ears to the sky.
"We is near 'em!" Silas exclaimed.
"What's 'Nearum?"
"No, no, no! The others are close. I hear 'em, yes I do." He nodded his head violently, staggering as he started to run towards the closest group of Guardians. Vlad had to pick up his pace to catch up with the ball of talking energy.

Vlad found Silas jumping happily when he saw the group of humans and animals, who he guessed talk as well. They were spread apart though. At first he could not make out what Silas was yapping about until he came closer. He heard him repeat, "Kangaroo! Kangaroo!" Apparently he likes kangaroos... he thought. Not wanting to attract to much attention, Vlad quickly came over to Silas and scooped him up, having to hold the little guy tight so that he'd stop trying to bounce in his arms, his mouth cupping Silas' muzzle. Vlad blushed as he looked to the other human.
"Sorry, someone gave him a Monster before bed," he said.
