Vince slowed his pace, walking beside her until they reached the forest.

Flora stopped and perked her ears. She held her nose to the sky and sniffed. "There's a deer herd somewhere," she said softly

Vince stopped, sniffing the air as well. He nodded, knowing she was right. Deer tracks and sents covered the forest. "This way..." He said and headed towards the strongest scent.
