Adopt virtual pets at Chicken Smoothie!Anima (soul - the dog) and Incendia (fire - the Bat)
It had been a long night of trick or treating, the road had grown long and weary under her paws... Finally she could sit back and relax, enjoy her candy... Well... What was left of it. Rolling over onto her back in the sea of wrappers, she eyed her open bag. All that was left was sweet tarts and suckers... maybe a handful of tootsie rolls (bleh!) but absolutely no more chocolate. Licking her lips, she swept away the last of the chocolate from her fur. Had she aten it all already? Eyes skipped over to the bat hanging upside down upon its perch, happily sleeping off the chocolate covered bugs that Anima defiantly wouldn't eat. Rolling onto her paws, she crept up to the little sleeping bat, intrigued by his swollen belly.
"Incendia..." she whispered, poking his belly with her paw. But there was no response. "Incendiaaaa..." she cooed, trying to be soft on the small bat's sensitive ears. Finally on the third try, the bat awoke. Yawning, he blearily blinked, eyes rolling up... or down? Well, to look at her. Abruptly he screeched, startling her as his wings began to flap frantically. "Incendia its me! ITS ME!" she called to the winged rodent, trying to squash his complaints so they may sneak out without waking up the rest of the house.
Incendia heaved in breaths, trying to recover from his fright. "Come on lets go get more candy. Im out." she spoke, poking his belly.
"Anima you scared meee!" he began, but her response to his complaint, was her turning away to gather her supplies.
"Help me get dressed..." she spoke almost absently, already grabbing her blanket and casting it over her back. Incendia grumbled and started to collect the candles from around the room. Plopping three down upon her tails. Strapping on her devil horns, she picked up the lantern and headed out the door as the bat lit each one. Anima... was afraid of the dark. While most haunts in the night didn't scare her, the actual dark its self did. There was nothing worse than not seeing just what made a bump in the night, especially when it included bumping around her.
Leaving the house, she quickly ran back and grabbed her pillow case before finally exiting out the door. By this time the crowd of tricker treaters had gone down, however the candy level skyrocketed. Each stop practically poured their delicious candy into her bag until it was replenished and full. "One last house Incen." she spoke through the metal ring in her mouth. Her bag slung over her back, tied down by a purple collar.
"Oh joy, do you suppose they will have chocolate covered ants at this one?" he spoke happily, enjoying the flight despite the chill of the night. Stopping at the last house, she smiled and gave him a brief reply, all to happy to finally reach the last house of the night and top off her bag. She watched other trick-or-treaters run past her and ring the bell. It didn't take long for her to follow suit either, and join the crowd awaiting their prize. Incendia fluttered down, landing upon her lantern and waiting to see what may drop in the bag. Carefully placing it upon the ground, she grabbed her bag, and when the door opened....
