((Aww... you´re making me feel bad for leaving! I could stay, I guess.... maybe... But I have said no to joining other RPs now, so it wouldn´t really be fair ))
Jack nodded, scowling as he knelt down to begin scrubbing the wooden surface, but looked up in confusion as Emerald spoke "What do you mean, about not going below deck?" he said with a frown, and then shrugged. He was going to have to learn to accept orders without questioning them from now on, so the lad continued scrubbing the deck. This Alsan was definitely an extremely cruel man, and Jack hoped he would be killed soon.



Alsan turned around and strode towards his chambers, his boots tapping softly against the polished floor as he walked into the room, and then sat down slowly, closing his eyes and smiling softly at the rocking of the ship. He had got used to it during these years, and now felt strange each time he stepped on land. The sea was almost his home now, and he could not imagine living anywhere else except in these familiar rooms of wood and metal. Opening his eyes, he drew his sword out of it´s sheath and put it on his lap softly, his nails running along the silvery metal whilst his green eyes sparkled with a gleam of complete madness. Slowly, he sheathed the sword again, and walked over to the window, looking out at the sea thoughtfully.

Em pushed her hair out of her face and continued to keep scrubbing, though she wasn't putting much effort into the job. "Women slaves typically aren't allowed below deck unless it's to bring the crew food. The work below deck is harder and if something happens I won't be able to come help you. Stay up here."

((Dalia could go up to them and ask them something, and then they could mention doing a mutiny against Alsan ))
Jack nodded silently, continuing to scrub the floor, but in the meanwhile he looked around when he wasn´t being watched. It seemed like all the slaves were very afraid of everything, by the way they walked and talked, but that didn´t mean that they couldn´t be convinced to go against their master... they only needed convincing.
"Emerald" he whispered "Do you think all these slaves could be convinced into going against... you know" he avoided saying the name, for fear of being overheard and their plans spoiled.

At Jack's question, she raised an eyebrow and glanced around at the slaves on board. She snorted in amusement and rolled her eyes. "Jack, if slaves could be made into soldiers, the Hood would be much bigger." she grumbled. "Slaves are used to being controlled, the slightest thing makes them frightful. They're no good in a fight." She glanced up at the slaves again, her eyes examining each one of them closely. There were a few slaves that looked like they could be useful, mostly the young males who used to do hardy farm work. They were still strong, from working on the boat, and they didn't look too broken yet. They could help. "Maybe a few of them would go for it. We can try, but if it doesn't work we'll be killed."

Dalia hesitated before walking up to them. She didn't know what to say at first, but there was something strange about them. "where you come from?" She asked. She originally didn't know English, but now she knows some words. She lowered her head, shy.

Jack shrugged "It was an idea. We will probably get killed anyway" He looked up again, however, when Dalia approached, and frowned slightly. Emerald was right. They were all afraid, their personalities broken by the cruelness of the whip and work. This slave seemed so shy, so hurt and beaten, that it was hard to see that once she could have been a normal person. He decided to let Emerald answer her question, as she was the leader, and decided to keep his own mouth shut from now on, fearing being punished for talking instead of working.

Alina finished her chores and slipped out through the passage ways being sure to avoid her master. He would surely kill her for going to visit Jack but Alina couldn't help herself. She darted passed a group of slaves and into the shadows nearby and grabbed a bucket and scrubbing brush and got to work scrubbing the deck, not her usual chore but she could see the members of the Hood who had been put to work. How could Jack have been so stupid as to let her master keep them?

Emerald just smirked. "Oh well. We'll die one day, right?" she asked sarcastically, as if amused by the thought. She wasn't scared of dying, but thinking of it seriously would only bring down their spirits. They had to keep them up, keep them light. It would help make things bearable. She glanced up at Dalia as the girl came up, her smirk fading as she studied her quickly. "We're from England." Em finally responded. This girl couldn't be a threat, telling her the truth wouldn't hurt.

(Just so you know, I may loose my internet over the next three days because there's (another) hurricane coming over. -_- So I may not be able to respond.)
